You don’t need more confidence.
You need to allow yourself to be seen scared.

For years I believed I had to feel ready before I shared my voice. Polished first. Confident first. Perfect first.

It’s that fear that keeps so many of us hidden.

Confidence isn’t something you feel before you show up. It’s what you build by showing up anyway, imperfectly, one small step at a time. However that might look for you.

I love a good prime day as much as anyone. Love a good deal. Love sharing my favorite products (and will continue to). But for some reason this prime day just felt different. I found myself commenting on all the posts to get the links just to realize I really don’t “need” any of it.

Then, as I continued thinking about it I realized how often I get stuck thinking I “need” something before I can feel____. I’ve been stuck in plenty of waiting seasons and I’m currently navigating a big one. It’s easy to feel stuck in that. But truthfully, our joy and happiness is a choice. We don’t need a product from Amazon or our circumstance to change before we can feel good.

So, if you’ve been browsing, happy browsing. Take advantage of the deals. But don’t let the deals take advantage of you.

If you’re waiting for “that thing” to happen. Keep waiting. But CHOOSE to do it happily (easier said than done, TRUST ME, I know). I will be waiting right along with you, choosing to find the good, even when it feels hard. We don’t have to purchase a product or for something to happen in order to start FEELING what we are hoping to feel. We can choose to “notice the nectar” today✨🫶🏼💫

In life there are so many different scenarios or situations that can feel less than ideal. So many opportunities to feel discouraged or pessimistic.

But on the flip side, through those same experiences there can be so much GOOD to be found. So many examples of how life really is working out FOR you instead of against you. So many opportunities to recognize God’s hand in it all.

Even in the hard. Even in the challenges. You can find the glimmers of you choose to look for them. It all depends on your perspective. At the end of the day, it’s all your choice how each circumstance FEELS based on how you choose to view it.

Sometimes the choice is to be mad. To be frustrated. To be sad. There is a place for that. Being able to feel the entire range of emotions is part of life. Even the uncomfortable ones. Allow yourself to feel the disappointment… and then, choose to keep moving.

Choose to STILL, despite it all, find the good. It’s there. It’s ALWAYS there. Maybe not in the way you were hoping or expecting. And at times you might even need to think outside of the box or get creative to see it, but if and when you choose to, there it will be ✨🫶🏼💫 taken in Utah by @allthingsceciley
