Year 17✨

Starting this new school year with so much gratitude. Grateful that I get to have a career, I get to go to work, I get to have a classroom that will be filled with learning, laughter, and many memories, and extremely grateful for all the opportunities that have opened doors that I once thought would never be possible.
Pray for your kids and their teachers. Bless them, speak life over them, be grateful that God chose that teacher especially for your child. Be kind always, you never know what someone may be going through🙏🏻

It is with great sadness that I announce that I am no longer on summer vacation😭 please keep me in your prayers as I navigate this difficult transition back to work and responsibilities🙏🏻🤣

So funny story…I began last school year teaching 3rd grade. Before we went on winter break, my principal told me that we were getting an intern who was going to take over my class and I was going to be moved to 4th grade. Long story short, the second half of the school year was spent teaching 33 (yes, that number is correct) students math, science, and social studies. I had a gut feeling I was going to be put back in 4th grade and sure enough, I found out the week before school let out for summer. I know I’m like 3 weeks late on posting but don’t judge! I’ve been enjoying my summer vacation to the max!

I can’t start my year without declaring life and Gods word over my students , my classroom and their families💓

We are taking care of a generation that God is using and will continue to use ! This system is so messed up Fam but as children of God and teachers in the public schools we have the authority to declare life and proclaim his Goodness over these world changers and future world leaders.

Be an Esther, bold and courageous enough to stand for the truth, to voice your opinion and fight for the good of other, even when that means to sacrifice yourself. If God has put you in position, it is for purpose. Never be afraid to heed to the inner voice.

Not sure who needs to hear this but , GOD HAS BEEN SO GOOD TO YOU ✨

Always remember the truth of what God has to say about you :

You are chosen
You were made at the Likeness of God
You are Worth it
You are Gifted
You are Forever Loved
You are Forgiven
You are Redeemed

And most IMPORTANTLY you are a CHILD OF GOD ✨
As we approach the end of the year I want to remind you of Gods goodness and of everything he has to say about you. I know this year may have not been exactly what you wanted it to be but God was their writing your story along the way !!!
