Catch us on @kalwpublicmedia 91.7 FM for their latest Crosscurrents series! Thank you Viviana for coming to our space & listening to us yap about sign painting. We definitely do not take full credit for the resurgence but are so grateful to be in such rich community of sign painters in the bay area (and beyond) as well as all of our clients that have put their trust in us over the years! We are so thankful to continue to do what we do 🎨🖌️✨

We don’t do interviews often and hate hearing our voices so please be gentle 😝 Link to listen in our bio! by @allthingsmeng

We’ve been working on @adastragym’s branding & identity and now we’re getting to the fun part — actually painting it. Here’s the first of it in physical form; an a-frame! The shape on top was a fun addition to give it a lil art deco touch. We added acp panels they can attach to let folks know a class is in session. It’s also blank on the other side so they can use a dry erase marker to highlight anything else like events or just a fun message for people walking by. There is definitely more to come for @adastragym! by @allthingsmeng

Got to paint a fun banner for @sighgonethrifting — with Viet inspired lettering for the Viet owner of this small business! Her partner commissioned me to design & paint this as a birthday gift — how sweet this was and such a treat to do! I haven’t done this color combo yet and I loved how it turned out. Thank you for having me, I’m so excited to see it up and flying high already 💅🏼 Catch Cat Pham at @happyhousesf & @citystationsf @suckaflea for all your thrifting needs yall! taken in City Station by @allthingsmeng

Congratulations @bittersandbottles on their new location here on Fell & Broderick! They had opened 6 months ago but we hadn’t noticed since their building had blended into the background — which nothing a fresh coat of red paint and all this lettering can’t fix :) Thank you so much for having us, we don’t get to paint this much exterior walls often so it was a real treat, even in this chilly summer! Come through to their beautiful space and extensive collection of all their boozey (and nonalcoholic) goodies!

Someone who lived across the street thought we were actually tagging the place 🤣 don’t worry, just a lil spray cleaner! taken in Fell & Broderick by @allthingsmeng

We’re currently working on branding & identity for a new gym opening up in the Richmond but had to throw down some big temporary paper signs while they’re getting their space ready! They’re having classes offsite and some onsite so get in there for sneak peeks. Thank you @adastragym for having us, can’t wait to get everything all buttoned up so we can get to more painting! (Especially to get rid of the last tenant’s awning for a fresh start!) by @allthingsmeng

I Know a Spot ep. 6 w/ @signsbymeng 🎥

Signs by Meng may have one person’s name in the title, but Michelle Nguyen’s story is decorated with a mosaic of people that makes her the artist she is now.

In today’s episode of I Know a Spot, we get to peel back the curtain and learn from one of the most notable artists in the Bay Area.

🎉 Happy happy happy birthday to my boo Jeffie! 🎉

We went to one of his faves last night, complete with the restaurant’s staff shirt! He noticed them wearing it years ago and asked if they have em for sale…they don’t really advertise it but here’s your sign you can totally buy one at Big Lantern 😝

Luh you, @okayjeffrey! My silly vegan, my khoai tây, my fart factory! Cheers to many more years of this nonsense together!!!

Got to get up and out there on a hot one yesterday for University Homes, a new supportive housing project in Berkeley! Can’t go wrong with some gothics we put together. Thanks Andy for having us and Victor for blessing us with the scaffolding setup ✨

Fun fact: the storefront on the most left was home to @goldenwestsignarts’s sign shop back in the day! Wished we knew him then to see it in all its glory! taken in Berkeley, California by @allthingsmeng
