ODDference is back — this time at Tanssin talo.

The idea is simple: creative practitioners have expertise that matters far beyond the creative industries.

So we’re building a business conference where you can learn from people outside your field, meet people outside your usual circles, and experience something that goes beyond what happens on stage.

Some of it we’ll tell you about beforehand. Some of it is better left unexplained.

A new shape for ODDfest.

In 2027, ODDfest becomes a week of independently made events across Helsinki.

Artists, collectives, venues, organisations, communities and companies make their own things. ODD brings them together into one shared week.

Each event stays on its own terms. Together, they become ODDfest.

19–25 April 2027 in Helsinki.

ODDfest was the beginning.

What started as one event has grown into ODDfest, ODDference and ODDspace — and a few other ideas we're still playing with.

Different formats, same question:

What happens when creative work gets more space to grow, connect and meet the rest of society?

The direction is clear. The forms it takes can keep evolving.

All Things ODD is simply the home for everything we do under ODD.

An ODD thousand thank yous.

Below you find our thank-you for ODDfest 2026.

It’s the credits of what made ODDfest 2026 possible. The letter, the photos, and the names of all 386 people, artists, collectives and organisations who made it.

Volunteers who kept things calm when it got chaotic (it did get chaotic). Curators. Partners and foundations who joined before anyone knew how it would turn out.

And now that the ODDyssey continues we realized we never threw the afterparty. The festival ended on 13 June, everyone went home, and then it was summer.

So tomorrow it’s showdown and restart: Saturday 26.9, 19:00 till midnight, ODDspace, Teollisuuskatu 9D in Vallila. Free. DJs, Open decks, art in the side rooms. Bring your own drinks; Mikkeller’s covering the non-alcoholic beer.

If you’re in the video, the night’s yours. If you’re not, come anyway.

AFTER ODD

The ODDfest afterparty we never had.

ODDfest ended in June. After three full days and thousands of people passing through, everyone went home. Summer began, and somehow there was never time for that final drink, those hugs or a proper thank you.

It has been bothering us ever since.

So, slightly late but very much needed, we’re finally gathering again at @oddspace

The evening is especially for the volunteers and everyone who helped make ODDfest happen, but the doors are open to everyone.

There will be music, open decks, art installations and plenty of time to hang out with a lovely bunch of odd people. If you’d like to bring something or organise a little programme of your own, we’d love to hear your idea.

Simply put: a little get-together at our home base for everyone who helped shape ODDfest, and anyone who might want to help shape what comes next. <3

Last week, ODDspace became Imagine for Taiteiden yö. A space to slow down, listen, explore and stay for a while.

One part of the installation was built around UNDINE Klangmöbel sound chairs. Before sitting down, visitors chose a word. A place far away, a person, a memory, warmth. Then Aika ja tila by Harri Kuusijärvi and Tatu Rönkkö played through the chairs, letting you listen and feel the music through your body.

The other part brought pieces of the forest into the gallery. Branches, textures, shapes and poems became starting points for imagination. Visitors read, touched and explored the materials, then wrote their own poems inspired by what they found.

Some stayed with the music. Some wrote. Some explored. Some talked. Some just hung out.

Thanks to everyone who came, stayed, listened and became part of Imagine. ♡
