Hi friends! 🌞 There are some new faces here so I thought I’d reintroduce myself.

* My dad describes me as “creative and sometimes funny” and I think that sums up what you can expect here.

* I panic at dinner parties when someone asks, “What do you do?” and vowed to stop asking this question. I prefer, “What are you looking forward to?” or “When you’re not working, what do you love to do?”

* I have my BFA and MFA in Creative Writing with a focus in nonfiction. Degrees are great, but there’s nothing like life experience. I am most inspired when I leave my desk and get out in the world and observe.

* I live in the woods on 4 acres and I’m always trying to grow things and learn from growing things. Nature metaphors never get old for me.

* I love libraries. If I ever post about a book and you want to read it, check to see if your library has it first. My phone has screenshot after screenshot of things that I think I need to buy because someone posted about it. I never want this to be a place like that.

* When I think of my writing, I think about a guitarist playing in the corner of a restaurant. I love being a small artist with a small following. I don’t need a big arena. I love to connect with people over words and realize that we have so much in common. Everyone is welcome here.

Thanks for reading along. I’m so grateful for this community! ❤️ by @allwriteallwriteallwrite

It’s that gray sky February feeling of dormancy. I have so much ambition and intention, so many ideas and dreams and sometimes it feels like there’s no forward movement. I hope nature encourages you as it always does me. by @allwriteallwriteallwrite

Hey, NC! These tax amendments have a lot of red flags. 🚩🚩🚩 Vote against the amendments and let’s hold out for tax reform that is intended to help our communities, not lock in tax breaks for wealthy corporations. #voteagainst #publicschoolstrong #northcarolinacomeonandraiseup by @allwriteallwriteallwrite

I’m unboxing the Property Tax Limits to show you what’s really inside. Let’s take care of our children and communities, not our corporations. Vote against these harmful tax amendments. For our public schools and for each other. #voteagainst #northcarolinacomeonandraiseup by @allwriteallwriteallwrite
