10 years of being Mrs. Applegate 🤍

10 years ago today we said “I do”. 10 years of some of the highest highs and lowest lows, but there’s no one else I’d rather have by my side through it all. 1 house, 3 boys, and 10 years of memories later and I still can’t wait for the next 10 with you. So cheers my love 🤍 Love you more! by @ally.applegate

Happy Father’s Day to my other half 🫶🏻 Thank you for giving me the family I always dreamed of. I’m so glad I’m doing it with you by my side! And thanks for always being all in on my ridiculous family costumes every year 😂 we love you so much! by @ally.applegate

Today I start my Master’s program for Master of Science in Library Media and Information Technology through Northeastern State University! When I applied and accepted the job as our lower school media teacher and reading enrichment specialist, I was asked if I would be willing to get my master’s in this specialty and become a fully certified media specialist (I’m a fully certified K-6 educator currently, but a media specialist certification is separate). I said that I was open to it, but that I would like to do the position for a year to make sure I enjoyed it before committing to such a specific Master’s degree.

With one year under my belt as our PK2- 6th grade Media teacher & 2nd-5th grade reading enrichment specialist, I’m in LOVE with my job. This year brought so much joy for me as a teacher being able to be creative with lessons, help students find books and series they truly enjoyed, and so much more!

So, here’s to day 1! I will be taking my time in pursuit of this degree since I will still be teaching full time and have 3 little boys of my own; but I’m so ready for this next step! by @ally.applegate
