P.S. I am so grateful for my dad, my brother, my mom, and the beautiful people I choose to surround myself with. <3 by @allylovesbugs

I am boundlessly grateful for the ability to perform this show, with these people, at this time in my life.

I knew how much love Dark Sky had to give from day one, when my staff and team granted me this opportunity despite the risks that came along. Words cannot describe the feeling that came over me when I could finally wear my drum again... all of my fear, doubt, and isolation were washed away, and I was introduced to a place I would soon call my home. And despite all my imperfections, goofiness, occasional arrogance, and rampant energy, I was still welcomed back home. Every single weekend.

I met so many beautiful souls and minds along my journey, who guided me through my flaws and praised me for my strengths. Thank you-- ALL of you-- for giving me the opportunity to become a better person as I pushed through the most challenging time in my life.

(Special thanks to Jason for entertaining my obnoxious jokes, and Omar for somehow always understanding me, and Abby for our beautiful Water Fountain performances, and Moomoo for tolerating me during the long drives, and KJ for being so much fun to talk to, and Derek for making me feel like a high schooler again, and Vincent for his ability to 'forgive and forget' after our scuffles, and DQ for being my number one cheerleader, and Aidin for being my favorite dweeb of all time, and Victor for always making me laugh, and of course, my wonderful staff for investing everything in us. I love you all.)

I'm not sure what's to come after this season. But what I do know is that Dark Sky will always be a part of me, and I am proud that I will always be a part of Dark Sky.

Gosh, and now I'm crying again... I love you guys.💛 Photo shared by Ally on April 22, 2024 tagging @benwilsxn, @enjoisean, @alanaungst, @matthew_moravitz, @the_proffesor_x, @___jasonliu___, @vuncenttt, @jchsu7, @derkoclock, and @alan.drums. by @allylovesbugs

Unforgettable.

Thank you to everyone I had the pleasure of marching and learning alongside this season. I discovered so much about the endless ways I can improve myself.

After getting injured, this experience was probably the most challenging thing I've had to push through. But I wouldn't change a single thing about it. Thank you to the friends, staff, and volunteers who supported me every step of the way. I couldn't have thrived through the rest of the season without you.

The grind never stops. Looking forward to what my future in the marching arts has in store for me!
