The future is something we each have a responsibility to help shape. Our nation continues to show us what is possible when vision is followed by ambition, commitment and action.

It was an honour and a humbling moment to be in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. His vision continues to inspire generations to think beyond limits and pursue what once seemed impossible.

The presence of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence of the UAE, made the occasion even more meaningful. His commitment to empowering leaders encourages us to take responsibility for carrying that vision forward.

For me, the day also marked the completion of the Mohammed bin Rashid Leadership Development Program @MBRCLD, a journey guided by the leadership philosophy of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum that broadened my perspective and deepened my sense of responsibility.

The conversations and ideas shared throughout the forum reminded me of the belief that has shaped the United Arab Emirates, with visionary leadership, bold thinking and determination, every challenge holds an opportunity to move forward.

One lesson I carry with me from this journey is that leadership requires the discipline to uphold our values, the courage to make difficult decisions and the ability to bring people together around a shared purpose. Its impact comes through putting that purpose into practice.

Alhamdulillah, I am deeply grateful to the Mohammed bin Rashid Center for Leadership Development. Heartfelt congratulations to my fellow graduates, and my sincere appreciation to @MayedOAlshamsi and Maryam Ahli for your leadership, guidance and dedication throughout this journey.

As this chapter concludes, I carry its lessons forward with gratitude and a responsibility to contribute, serve with purpose and help shape our nation’s future. In Sha Allah.

Finally, it is our pleasure to see our community find a home with The Espresso Lab - THARA in Sharjah.

Nestled within THARA, a contemporary destination where innovation, enterprise and community come together, we found a setting that resonated with what we value most. A place where people gather with purpose, where ideas are exchanged, where creativity thrives and where meaningful experiences become part of everyday life.

The warmth, support and love we have received since opening have been deeply humbling. Seeing familiar faces return, conversations unfold over coffee and the space embraced by so many from the Sharjah community has made this chapter profoundly meaningful for all of us.

When imagining The Espresso Lab - THARA, we were never simply designing a place to enjoy coffee. We were creating a place to linger a little longer. A place shaped by light, stillness and intentionality. A place where hospitality is felt as much as it is seen.

Natural stone, warm timber and carefully considered textures bring a sense of quiet permanence to the space, while generous proportions and shifting daylight create an atmosphere that evolves gently throughout the day. As the sun moves across the interior, light and shadow become part of the experience itself, revealing new details and offering a different perspective with every visit.

At the centre of the space, a sculptural island bar offers a contemporary interpretation of gathering. It is where craftsmanship becomes visible, where curiosity is welcomed and where coffee serves as a bridge for conversation, connection and discovery.

Every material, every object and every detail exists not to draw attention to itself but to support the simple beauty of being present.

We invite you to experience the elegance of specialty coffee within a space shaped by intention, designed for meaningful moments and created for genuine connection.

The morning began with remarkable cups from the living forests of Misty Mountain and Windy Ridge in Panama, shared with a community united by a deep appreciation for extraordinary coffee.

At The Espresso Lab | Roastery, we gathered to explore WILDYNAMICS | Expressing The Wild, the 2026 Auction Collection by Longboard Specialty Coffee. Before these coffees take their place on the global auction stage, we had the privilege of experiencing them in their most immediate form, shaped by living ecosystems, biodiversity, time and an unwavering respect for nature.

As we moved from cup to cup, the experience revealed far more than flavour alone.

Each coffee offered a unique expression of place.

Each lot reflected a distinct conversation between nature, terroir and craft.

Together, they embodied the philosophy envisioned by our dearly missed friend and beloved producer, Justin Boudeman, whose belief in allowing nature’s voice to be expressed through coffee continues to inspire a deeper understanding of what great coffee can be.

More than a tasting, it was a meaningful gathering of curious minds and passionate coffee professionals, brought together by a shared pursuit of discovery and a genuine respect for the craft.

To everyone who joined us this morning, thank you for your presence, your insights and your enthusiasm.

We are grateful to have shared this remarkable collection with you and to have explored the journey of WILDYNAMICS | Expressing The Wild together.

We now look ahead to the auction with great anticipation, excited by the opportunity to bring home some of the coffees that impressed and inspired us most from @longboard_coffee to The Espresso Lab | Roastery.

Best of Panama has always held a special place in our journey at @TheEspressoLab.

Alhamdulillah, since 2015, when The Espresso Lab became the first in the UAE 🇦🇪 to support and purchase Best of Panama coffees @SCAP.Panama, our connection with Panama’s producers and their remarkable coffees has grown stronger with every season.

This year was especially meaningful. We had the honour of serving on the International Jury, cupping extraordinary coffees and witnessing the dedication behind each lot.

At the Best of Panama 2026 Auction, we secured four coffees we loved:

Behind each lot are producers whose care and pursuit of excellence deserve to be remembered. That is why we have prepared a special episode about our 2026 journey; something we can return to long after these coffees have been enjoyed and the next season begins.

We are grateful to be part of this story and to keep strengthening the connection between Panama 🇵🇦 and the UAE 🇦🇪.

Since 2015, when The Espresso Lab became the first in the UAE to support and purchase Best of Panama coffees, our connection with Panama has been built upon a shared belief in craftsmanship, innovation and the relentless pursuit of excellence.

The thrill of the auction this year may be over, as the coffees have found their next home. We have also secured the lots we enjoyed the most during the competition.

It was a gracious afternoon of meaningful conversations, shared appreciation and discovery through exceptional coffee. Together with World Brewers Cup Champion 2026, @NasJaafar, we had the honour of presenting a tasting experience centred on the pursuit of excellence, exploring how dedication, innovation and mastery continue to shape the future of specialty coffee.
