Tribal haircolor. Project took about 8 hrs from start to finish. I would say that the biggest challenge for me on this one was getting the design to be symmetrical.

He came in telling me about a bad previous haircut and thinking there wasn’t much we could do with it.

Instead of cutting more off, I showed him how to work with what he already had.

I walked him through how to style his own hair, how to control the shape and texture, and showed him exactly which STMNT products worked best for his hair.

Sometimes the difference isn’t another haircut, it’s knowing how to style what you already have.

By the end, he looked at himself and said he went from a boy to a man 😂

His reaction said it all.
