Plants are healers." 🌿 @robinrosebennett Aromatherapy is the practice of using natural plant extracts in essential oils to support wellbeing. The uplifting or grounding scents invite the mind to quiet down so the body can release tension & soften into postures with ease. In each class I will use a special blend of organic oils from high quality natural brands such as @primavera_life @farfalla.aromacare @demeter_de enveloping the room in warm, sunny scents via a diffuser, spray & roll on. Next to introducing the 3 main plants behind each mix, their origin, scent profile & effects, you can also intuitively connect with and learn more about a plant through @adrianaayales Herbal Astrology Oracle card deck. 🌹 About ✨Stress Release✨: An 8-part guided journey to calm the nervous system and release stress from your physical, mental & emotional self: Grounding, conscious breathing, self massage, Somatic Yoga, free movement, shaking, Restorative Yoga & Sound Bath. About ✨Yin Yoga✨: In Yin Yoga we use supportive props like bolsters, blacks & blankets to surrender into passive, gentle stretches for 3-5 minutes. Working with the connective tissue, we release into different shapes to let life force energy flow freely again throughout our whole body. You will leave feeling grounded, spacious & fully replenished. ✨ NEW CLASS ✨ In July we are trying out a new class concept at @thrive_yoga_amsterdam Zeeburg: To accommodate the heat, Aerial Yoga Flow is turning into AERIAL YIN YOGA 💫 Thursdays, 18:30 at Thrive Zeeburg: Unwind & recharge at our beautiful Zeeburg studio with a calming water view. In this class, we utilize a low hammock to support gentle to deep passive stretches & relaxing poses held for longer periods, allowing your body to fully release into the Aerial silk. We end the practice with a longer Savasana floating inside the hammock cocoon, accompanied by a soothing sound bath.
