I turned my bedroom into a gear room… and honestly, why didn’t I do this sooner? 😂

Instead of piling all my gear into my closet and digging through everything every time I’m packing for an adventure, I decided to give it a proper home.

Climbing gear, backpacks, camping gear… all the little things I’ve collected over the years. I wanted a space where everything has its place, it’s easy to find what I need, and I can actually see and appreciate all my gear instead of hiding it away.

Because let’s be honest, I love my gear more than anything 😂 And now I have a whole corner of my bedroom that I won’t get tired of staring at.

Next up: more adventures, more gear, and probably more reasons to reorganize this room. 🏔️

I couldn’t help myself… I went back to the Tantalus. 🏔️

Woke up to fresh snow on the peaks, then spent the days crossing glaciers, climbing rock and wandering through my favourite range.

Third time exploring Serratus, and lucky enough to stand on the summit for the second time. Every trip into the Tantalus just makes me want to explore it more.

We did forget our rope though lol.

East Ridge of Alpha

Marie and I camped at Lake Lovely Water and got an early start to beat the heat. A few short pitches of climbing led into some amazing exposed scrambling along the ridge and up to the summit.
The descent was long, but took us through some beautiful terrain and into parts of the area we’d never seen before. Such a cool way to explore another corner of the mountains.

Not every adventure needs to be a big objective. 🌄

Open mountain month in collaboration with @hellyhansen is your reminder to get out in nature, wether it’s a big or small adventure.

This one was just an after-work hike, dinner in the mountains, and a sunset. A couple of hours outside was all it took to turn an ordinary Tuesday into a pretty good evening.

Andrew had been dreaming about the White Dyke for ages, so we finally went for it. Hours of scrambling landed us on the saddle of Edge Mountain, but there was no water. We did a sketchy mission back down the dyke to scoop snow, stuffing extra into Ziplocks so we wouldn’t have to return. We slept on the saddle, and the next day topped it off with 8 rappels to get off the mountain. Definitely a story to tell

When your alarm goes off at 2:30am and says Alpine start… Up chasing the cool air, hiking through darkness into a blazing orange sunrise. Crossed the glacier, climbed steep snow, and scrambled to the summit of Mount Matier. Long, tough, and so damn beautiful. Days like this I’ll never forget.

Ossa-Pelion Link up

My day began early at 1:30 AM when my alarm went off. By 2 AM, I picked up Eric, and by 3, we were at the trailhead, ready to start our hike. We trekked for hours to reach the summit of Ossa. I was tired and ready to turn back, but Eric convinced me to push on and add Pelion to our journey. I'm glad I listened because it turned out to be a rewarding return to the alpine. The entire adventure took us 17 hours and 30 minutes from start to finish, reminding me of the challenges and beauty of nature. taken in Squamish, British Columbia by @aluppz

Bugaboos 2023

Climbing the spires of the Bugaboos has been a dream of mine for a couple of years now. I've been preparing myself for this trip, climbing lots of trad prior. To only place 4 pieces of gear and not even using my climbing shoes. Me and Nic managed to climb Bernta Spire and Pigeon spire before the bad weather rolled in.
