Awareness is the key for our safety. Always check your car as you approach and make sure that your tires are good with no flats, no shopping carts or other obstructions are blocking you from exiting.
Once you make it inside your vehicle and you are secure inside, don’t open your window or your door to someone that approaches. If they appear in a friendly manner or knock on your window…again, don’t unlock or open your door. Any communication can be done through the window.
If you have concerns about your vehicle, 🚗 drive to the front entrance where it’s populated and check your vehicle when others are in your vicinity.
When someone appears out of nowhere…that’s usually a red flag. 🚩

Know who you are and what you believe it.
Peer pressure and pushing your boundaries can lead to environments that can make you vulnerable. No, it’s not the victims fault if they choose to attend a party like this…but why would someone want to be around people who think this banner is funny. Avoid situations that involve people that don’t meet your standards. They can become red flags.

Keep your ears 👂clear! Your hearing is your greatest sense. Take away the element of surprise. 😮
Make eye contact with people. Is somebody watching you? Avoid areas of isolation especially if you are out running alone.
Have a plan of action. I love to take @sabresafety along for any type of training. We never know who and where our paths might cross with evil. 😈

Most of us have experienced this. The guy who keeps his eyes on you. The guy who when he stares at you makes your stomach turn. Don’t wait for something to happen. Don’t wait for them to engage you in conversation or to approach you. It’s actions like this that can lead to danger, especially when your intuition@signals you.

The 5th Annual #AlwaysBevFallTour is in motion. Teaching the younger generation safety strategies, healthy relationships and what is and what is NOT consent.

I speak the truth and tell the real stories of victims so others can be educated with important life and decision making skills.

We will hit 7 different states over the next months including our first all male event with grades 9-12.
