Walking out of the gorge after a few days caving we came across a fisherman and his 5 year old little boy who had become trapped by the swollen river.
The lads rigged some rescue lines and we got them back over to the right side of the river before dark.

It's been 15 years this month since I started instructing @polerciseni.

This seemed a fitting repost.

What a weekend at the @allirelandpoledance championships held in the Waterfront Hall, Belfast. With 58 competitors over 7 categories this year it was the biggest and best since the competition began. Every single competitor absolutely killed it on stage and the atmosphere was incredible. It was particularly special to see @rubyrumpus and @tinydancer_xx place 1st and 2nd in the over 50s category along with @martinekettle_ winning gold in the over 40s. The level of athleticism in the Elite and Professional catergories just gets higher and higher every year. However, special mention goes to the phenomenal @elpolercise who is not only one of the kindest, best hearted people I've ever met but also THE pioneer of pole sport in Ireland. Yet again she managed to pull together an amazing event and look absolutely beautiful doing it. 💚 by @aly.coyle
