Real talk: my old ED thoughts have been flooding my mind lately. Between the constant GLP-1 ads and extreme thinness being celebrated above anything else, it’s hard to ignore. In my current midsize body, I often feel uncomfortable or like I’ve failed because I’m not “winning” at being skinny anymore. Happy Gotcha Day to Parky!!! 🎉🥳 Three years ago, I saw this cute lil guy in a dog rescue facebook group and knew in my bones that he was my dog. Without much planning, I drove to Lexington, KY and adopted him. He immediately brought me joy and challenges and we became each other’s emotional support animals while navigating grief, depression and anxiety. This guy’s love and happy go lucky personality is infectious and rescuing him was the best decision I’ve ever made. If I’ve learned anything over the past couple of months, it’s that you have to believe in yourself more than anyone else. In July, I started two part-time jobs on top of building @wldflwr_vintage 😮‍💨 It’s been A LOT. But I’m also learning how to juggle it all because I really believe in this dream of curating whimsical size-inclusive vintage… and someday soon hopefully making my own line 🤭 thank you for all of you supporting this journey 💕
