Unity not division. Grit not grift. An amazing weekend of sports bringing up all the emotions, and patriotism, and reminder that we can put our best foot forward as a country and we can work together to move beyond this dark political moment. Also I love NY. #knicks #teamusa by @alyonamink

Free Ahmed 🕊️ our friend, the journalist Ahmed Shihab-Eldin, has not been seen since his detention in Kuwait early March. Ahmed is an American citizen. He has been arrested under spurious charges, including the dubious charge of “spreading false information”. The fact is, Ahmed is a journalist at a time when it is increasingly perilous to try and hold the powerful accountable, something he has done throughout his two-decade career. We are extremely concerned about his safety and wellbeing. Journalism is not a crime. We call on Ahmed to be released immediately. Please continue to spread the word #freeahmed by @alyonamink

Our friend and journalist Ahmed Shihab-Eldin has reportedly been detained for the past 6-weeks in Kuwait. He has had limited access to his lawyer and is facing numerous charges, apparently related to social media posts pertaining to the Iran war. Will post updates as we get them but a broad reminder of the perilous situation for journalists at this moment. Ahmed must be provided necessary legal support and released. Journalism is not a crime. #freeahmed #journalismisnotacrime by @alyonamink

Amazing snow day with the fam. Lola is a natural. ⛷️⛷️ Not pictured, that at 37, I decided I’m tired of being a mediocre snowboarder and tried getting on skis for the first time. taken in Ski Windham, Windham Ny by @alyonamink
