My first solo album 𝘽𝙤𝙙𝙮 𝙈𝙚𝙨𝙨 out today💋 I like to call it technicolor trash pop. A lot of it is about losing loved ones way too soon & feeling pretty mad & confused by it.

Thank u so much @martinbisibc for your patience & kindness during this whole process, and to @_sarah_register for making it sparkle so nice. It’s been 10 years since @eulamusic 𝘞𝘰𝘰𝘭 𝘚𝘶𝘤𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨 (also by Martin!) & it feels so good to share more weirdo music❤️

Last pic taken by @heidivaughangreenwood at Palisades 2014, she always pushed me to be loud & to create & I miss her dearly.

And to @c_c_mulligan, u inspire me every day (duh).

This year, as part of our “Dementia 13” screening at @bricktheater on Monday, October 19, Hoff’s Horrorfest is excited to feature the maestra of mayhem, @alysedreamhouse 🎤 Unhook from reality and fall into the world of Alyse Dreamhouse, a journey that’s part nightmare, part cushy fever dream, and 100% messy. Ever feel like your body isn’t attached to your head? Are you massively overdue for an exorcism? Featuring remixed horror and live sound, you’ll walk away slightly bewildered but lighter & brighter than before. 🪩

A musician, sound designer and performance artist based in Brooklyn, NY, Alyse Dreamhouse is the singer/guitarist of the experimental duo Parlor Walls and co-creator of the video art collective Famous Swords. Her solo work spans various musical genres and media. Often featuring slow-roasted snares, vintage samples and pitched vocals, Alyse describes it as “technicolor trash pop”. Don’t miss out!
