TODAY → B.E. W.E.L.L. 🌿
APPLICATIONS ARE OPEN TODAY THROUGH OCT. 11.

For the woman who knows she’s capable - but keeps questioning herself.

For the woman who knows she’s doing her best - but keeps wondering if she’s getting it wrong.

For the woman who knows she’s safe - but whose body keeps preparing for something to go wrong.

For the woman who has spent so much time taking care of everything else that she’s not always sure what she needs anymore.

B.E. W.E.L.L. is a space to slow down and understand what may be happening beneath those patterns.

Over 8 weeks, we’ll focus on:
🌿 Understanding mind-body patterns related to childhood family trauma and dynamics

🌿 Building practical skills

🌿 Practicing responding differently

🌿 Connecting with other women who are doing their own healing

This is not a promise of complete healing in eight weeks.

It’s an opportunity to learn, practice, experience, and begin.

Applications are now open for the next B.E. W.E.L.L. cohort.

If you’ve been recognizing yourself in these posts, this may be a place to start.

💛 Apply through the link in my bio.

DAY 1 → B.E. W.E.L.L. 🌿

You might be wondering: “Is this group actually for me?”

B.E. W.E.L.L. is for adult women who recognize that something from their earlier experiences - especially childhood family trauma or dynamics - may still be showing up in how they experience themselves and their lives now.

Maybe you’re capable, but constantly questioning yourself at work.

Maybe you’re doing your best as a mother, but constantly afraid you’re getting it wrong.

Maybe your relationship is okay, but your body keeps preparing for rejection, abandonment, or something going wrong.

Maybe you’ve become really good at taking care of everyone else while having a harder time knowing what you need.

Maybe you understand your patterns intellectually, but still find yourself responding in ways you wish you could change.

You don’t have to identify with every example.

You just need to recognize that you’re ready to better understand your patterns, build practical skills, and practice responding differently.

B.E. W.E.L.L. is a cohort-based women’s trauma support group offered through Embodied Moments Counseling Services, PLLC.

Applications open tomorrow, September 24.

🌿 Tomorrow, you can take the next step.

DAY 2 → B.E. W.E.L.L. 🌱

So…what actually happens in B.E. W.E.L.L.?

This isn’t a group where you’re expected to sit on a Zoom call and simply talk about your trauma for eight weeks.

There are three parts to the group process:
1. Mental health education
We’ll build understanding around trauma and post-traumatic growth vocabulary, mind-body wellness experiences, generational roles and patterns, and examples of ways your lived experience can continue showing up in the present as “hypervigilance”, being “overprotective”, or difficulty naming, let alone communicating, unmet needs and expectations to family or your romantic partner(s).

2. Homework
You’ll have opportunities to practice between sessions - because understanding a pattern is different from practicing a new response to it. This experience is grounded in expanding your capacity for self-compassion and self-acceptance, and in noticing your unmet emotions and needs without self-blame, inappropriate guilt, or responsibility for others’ emotional experiences.

3. Bonding activities
You’ll have opportunities to connect and share alongside other women who are doing their own healing. This includes practicing self-expression through your preferred artistic media, celebrating progress, supporting each other through setbacks, and gaining lived experience of who you prefer to be in your family dynamics.

The goal is not just to know more about trauma.

It’s to take what you’re learning and begin doing something different with it.

Understand. Practice. Connect.

That’s B.E. W.E.L.L. 🌱

Applications open September 24.

2 days until B.E. W.E.L.L. 💛

DAY 3 → B.E. W.E.L.L. 🌿

Let’s talk about 8 weeks.

Eight weeks is enough time to learn.

Enough time to practice.

Enough time to notice patterns you may not have had language for before.

Enough time to have experiences that can begin changing how you respond to yourself.

But eight weeks is not a promise that you will be completely “healed” from your trauma.

Trauma recovery doesn’t work on a countdown clock.

And B.E. W.E.L.L. isn’t designed to convince you that it does.

The purpose of this cohort is more specific:

Understand mind-body patterns related to childhood family trauma and dynamics.

Build practical skills.

Practice responding differently.

Do that alongside other women who are doing their own healing, too.

Eight weeks gives us a container for that work.

What happens beyond those eight weeks will be different for every woman.

You don’t have to finish healing in eight weeks.

You just have to be willing to begin practicing something different. 🌿

3 days until B.E. W.E.L.L. 💛

DAY 4 → B.E. W.E.L.L. 🌱

L.L. = Love how you’re Living

Not love every part of your life.

Not have everything figured out.

And definitely not be happy all the time.

I mean having enough connection to yourself that you can begin asking:

What do I actually want?
What feels meaningful to me?
What do I need more - or less - of?
What have I been tolerating because it feels easier than changing it?
What parts of myself have I pushed aside just to keep everything else going?

For some women, this might show up in their career.

For others, motherhood, relationships, rest, friendships, finances, creativity, or simply having a life that feels like their own again.

B.E. W.E.L.L. creates space to look at those questions without reducing your life to your trauma.

Because your past may have shaped you.

It does not have to be the only thing shaping how you live now.

That’s what I mean by Love how you’re Living. 🌱

4 days until B.E. W.E.L.L. 💛

DAY 5 → B.E. W.E.L.L. 🌿

W.E. = Wellness

Wellness can sound like something you’re supposed to do better at.

Drink more water.
Get more sleep.
Take better care of yourself.
Set boundaries.
Make time for yourself.

And those things can matter.

But sometimes knowing what would help isn’t the same as being able to consistently do it.

When you’ve spent years adapting to stress, responsibility, unpredictability, or the needs of everyone around you, your own needs can become easy to overlook - even when you know they matter.

That’s why B.E. W.E.L.L. isn’t about adding another list of things you “should” be doing.

It’s about exploring the patterns underneath how you care for yourself - and practicing ways of responding to yourself differently.

Wellness isn’t just knowing what you need.

It’s developing the capacity to notice, honor, and respond to those needs.

That’s what I mean by Wellness. 🌿

5 days until B.E. W.E.L.L. 💛

DAY 6 → B.E. W.E.L.L. 🌾

B.E. = Breakthrough Experiences
What if a breakthrough isn’t about finally figuring everything out?

What if it’s the moment you notice:
“I know I’m capable - but I’m not feeling capable right now.”

“I know I’m doing my best - but I still feel like I’m getting it wrong.”

“I know I’m safe - but my body is preparing for something to go wrong.”

A breakthrough can be recognizing a mind-body pattern that once helped you survive - and beginning to experience a different way of responding.

In B.E. W.E.L.L., we’ll explore how childhood family experiences can continue to shape the way you relate to yourself, your work, your relationships, and your responsibilities.

The goal isn’t to erase your past or become a completely different person.

It’s to create opportunities to understand what’s happening, practice new skills, and experience yourself differently in the present.

That’s what I mean by Breakthrough Experiences. 🌾

6 days until B.E. W.E.L.L. 💛

B.E. W.E.L.L. 🌱
UNDERSTANDING YOURSELF CAN BE POWERFUL.

SO IS PRACTICING WHAT YOU’VE LEARNED.

Therapy can help us understand where our patterns come from, put words to our experiences, and develop meaningful insight.

B.E. W.E.L.L. builds on that understanding by creating space to practice.

Through mental health education, between-session practices, mindfulness, bonding activities, and resources, you’ll have opportunities to:

• notice your mind-body patterns
• connect what you’re experiencing to what you’ve learned
• practice new ways of responding
• reflect on what works for you
• build skills you can carry into everyday life

The goal isn't simply to understand your patterns - or to stop having them.

It’s to develop more awareness, more skills, and more choice in how you respond.

And you get to practice alongside other women who are doing their own healing, too. 💛

7 days until B.E. W.E.L.L. Applications Open Sept. 24th!

Bridging the mind-body gap 🌿

Maybe you know you’re capable - but work has you questioning yourself:
“I know I'm capable, so why does work make me feel like I'm failing?”

Maybe you know you’re doing your best - but you’re afraid you’re getting motherhood wrong:
“I know I'm doing my best, so why do I constantly feel like I'm getting it wrong?”

Maybe you know your relationship is okay - but your mind keeps preparing for rejection or abandonment:
“I know they're not necessarily leaving, so why does my body feel like abandonment is imminent?”

You can know something logically and still feel something completely different in your body.

That’s one of the places trauma can show up.

B.E. W.E.L.L. creates space to understand those mind-body patterns, build practical skills, and practice responding differently - with other women who are doing their own healing, too.

You don’t have to keep thinking your way out of what your body learned to survive.

Why a women’s trauma support group? 💚

Women and girls can face a higher burden of adverse childhood experiences (ACEs), which can shape mental and physical health well into adulthood. Trauma can live not only in our thoughts, but in our nervous systems and bodies.

B.E. W.E.L.L. is a space to:
✨ understand how trauma affects mind + body
✨ support nervous-system regulation
✨ reconnect with your body and sense of self
✨ build self-esteem, safety, and connection
✨ heal alongside other women who get it

You don’t have to navigate the impact of trauma alone.

Is EMDR therapy right for you, or do the myths have you feeling hesitant? 🤔

Here are 3 quick answers to the most common EMDR questions:

1️⃣ Is it hypnosis? Nope! You are fully awake, alert, and in complete control the entire time.

2️⃣ Is it super intense? It can be powerful, but pacing and collaboration are key - we move at your pace.

3️⃣ Is it covered by insurance? Yes, standard 50-minute sessions are typically covered!

Healing doesn't have to feel like a mystery.
