HELLO I read The Infernal Devices for the FIRST TIME!! 🖤

Whew!! I’m glad I was reading with others in the fable book club Shadowhunters Support Group bc WOW did I need some emotional support after that trilogy!! 😭

This story wound itself around my heart and squeezed. I don’t know how to move on.

(The link is in my bio if you want to read the Shadowhunters universe books with us! It’s never too late!!) by @alyssasbooksta

Thank you @netgalley and @harperaudio @harpervoyagerus for an ALC in exchange for an honest review!!

@victoriaaveyard absolutely blew my socks off with this one!! I’ve been in love with her writing since I read Red Queen over a decade ago, and she’s still the QUEEN of fantasy. I was blown away with how immersive and creative this one was.

It comes out on Tuesday 9/8!!!!!! So place your Libby holds or visit your fave local indie bookstore on Tuesday. If you ever wished Elizabeth Swann had been even more badass, this one is for YOU. by @alyssasbooksta

Thank you @netgalley and @berkleyxobooks for an advanced copy in exchange for an honest review!! 🖤

Reap & Sow is an EXCELLENT debut from @charlottebplumb for fans of authors like Rachel Gillig or Sasha Peyton Smith.

This is a gothic fantasy romance about a girl who makes a deal with a demon to save her family, but gets more than she bargained for...

A perfect fall read!! OUT TOMORROW 10/6 by @alyssasbooksta

another month has passed with the new romantics, and we kicked off end of summer/start of fall with a cutie little romance called love and other conspiracies by mallory marlowe! 🍂

this month’s book was a mystery pick chosen by our members, and we learned SO MUCH about them through this 😈. from someone who has attended cryptid coachella to the vast majority loving toes, this was a wild one for sure.

if you want to pick this up, here are the vibes to expect
💼 workplace romance
👽 he’s a believer, she isn’t
👩‍❤️‍👨 delicious banter
👻 a ghost makes an appearance… or does it?
🛸 inspired by the x-files

what’s next you ask? we are about to read THE SWOONIEST ROMANCE FOR OCTOBER! join us or i’ll believe that you hate love AND autumn. which you don’t, right? right???

This book was UN-PUT-DOWN-ABLE.

If you’re in a slump, @tessabaileyisanauthor has the cure with Broken Rival. I LOVED it.

happy Sarah Adams cover real day to all who celebrate!! 💛

I’m SO excited for Sarah’s next book Soulmates, but if you are new to her and looking for a guide on where to start with her backlog—this is publication order of her books and which ones are connected.

Soulmates will be a standalone though!! So no pressure.

I personally loved the Rome, KY series and Beg Borrow or Steal was TOP tier for me.

If you love a wholesome hea and love to giggle and swoon, @authorsarahadams is for you!! 🥹💛 by @alyssasbooksta
