I finally made an official painting print shop on my website!!

All of my paintings have prints available in a variety of sizes on my website located in my bio! I tried to make my prints as affordable as possible so they can be more accessible for everyone. Go checkout my website and my print shop🫶

I also am no longer “schmidtypaints” but am officially @alyssaschmidtart ✨ Finally changing my website domain and instagram handle so all of my art (painting and photography) have a cohesive name.

I’m excited to keep creating more and more this year! Can’t wait to see what the future holds for me as artist🎨

Experienced a “No Art” event in Tulum this past January and it was one of the best experiences of my life. @anotr.music and @themartinezbros went b2b to end out the night & me and my friends danced our asses off until the sunrise. @noartmusic

My biggest painting/ commission I’ve ever done complete🥳!!! 4 x 7ft piece created with acrylic paint. Showing the skyline of Minneapolis but with my own funky twist on it. 90% of the painting was painted with my pallet knife, using vibrant colors to make the entire piece pop. Thank you @davonius for putting your trust in me to make this piece for you<3

I am feeling so creative and inspired recently<3 The more festivals & shows I go to the more I want to paint the beautiful energy I feel on the dance floor. I started this painting 2 years ago after subleasing for a month and a half in NYC. This piece is inspired by the NYC nightlife & the people I met during my time there. After 2 years of staring at this piece, it was time to finish it and bring it to life. You never know when you will feel inspired to finish old projects. KEEP CREATING ART EVERYDAY🎨📸🫶

I turned my dancing dudes into wearable art💃

I love making my own outfits for festivals. I had to idea to hand sew my dancing dudes I paint onto tops for me and all my friends to wear at a festival . I had so much fun making these tops! I am now looking into different ways to sew my dancing dudes onto clothes💃🫶 by @alyssaschmidtart

My dancing dudes turned psychedelic💃✨

Im trying out new ways to paint my dancing people & have fallen in love with painting on wet canvas. The paint speaks for itself and creates psychedelic visuals on raw canvas. I will definitely be creating more pieces like this asap!

In honor of Electric Forest this week I am finally finished with my Electric Forest inspired painting🌳☮️

I started working on this piece the first week I moved into my art studio in November and am finally finished with it. I created this piece by collaging images I took of my friends dancing at different shows/festivals throughout the year. Electric forest holds a special place in my heart<3 Can’t wait to get inspired again this year at one of my favorite places in the world @electric_forest

Art-a-whirl weekend was amazing! I am extremely grateful for every single person who came to my studio to see my art, it made my heart so full❤️

This was my first art-a-whirl and took months of preparation. I am so lucky to have a studio space to create my art and have so many beautiful people in my life who appreciate my creations📸🎨

If you showed up, bought a print, sticker, or painting, I love you so much❤️❤️ taken in Holland Arts Building by @alyssaschmidtart
