Oh Aoibhlinn, to say I’m devastated is an understatement. I am incredibly sad to hear this news about Aoibhlinn, The kindest, soundest, most compassionate, empathetic, BRILLIANT and insanely intelligent consultant I’ve been lucky enough to have caring for me for so many years. Prof O’Toole always made me feel listened to and cared for. She gave me so much of her time and knew my struggles. I never felt anxious when I knew she was around.

Aoibhlinn only did my scope in May, and I never had to worry because she just had this calmness about her. She cared SO MUCH for her patients, and how lucky am I that I was one of them.My heart is absolutely broken by this news.

Thinking of Aoibhlinn’s wife, her two beautiful little babies, her family, friends, her colleagues and patients at Beaumont Hospital and everyone who loved her at this unbelievably sad time. ❤️

My anorexia journey is wild, because what do you mean I presented today in front of Judges as high up as Supreme Court Judges about my lived experience of being under wardship and coercive treatment. I’m buzzing! My Judge I had was there today too; it was so lovely to see her, I adore that woman. She basically saved my life. 👩‍⚖️ 🩷 by @amanda_lynch__

Yesterday I was invited to attend @cared_ireland presentation in the AV room at Leinster House for Eating Disorders Awareness Week. 💜 well done to everyone who shared their stories. Thank you to the TD’s who continue to show an interest in the care of people with eating disorders and advocate with us and for us.
