🦋The Book Nook of a Storyteller🦋

Hi, my name is Amanda Madison. Some of you may know me, others may not. I’m an MFA graduate student pursuing a Master’s Degree in Fiction Writing. I write fantasy and science fiction.

I dabble in poetry and photography, love to read, and enjoy gaming with friends. I am avid collector of things from the fandoms I enjoy (Gravity Falls, The Owl House, Frieren, and many others). My favorite band is Incubus. I am a proud cat mom to my beloved Dr. Doofenshmirtz.

QoTD: What project of mine are you most attracted to? Do you have any questions about any of the projects?

I am a reader, but I am also an author!

I have curated several projects over the years, so I made this informational slide as a resource for you to learn more about my projects, and what I am into.

💥Program 38: A coming of age, YA, superhero series. It features four college age student protagonist, training to become superheroes and fighting villains while juggling the struggles of being regular college students. The stories are about introspection and growth for each main character, all while growing stronger as a team. They are my first published written work, as well.

🦋 The Hall of Butterflies Duology: Also known as Book of Viceroy and Crown of Pipevine, these books are about a yearbook club finding a mysterious book containing a prophecy. They have nine days to save the world from destruction, and must travel across the country with the help of the mysterious Hall of a Million Doors. This leads to a rather whacky, YA roadtrip. The protagonist of this book also has a very… interesting path.

🌙 Project Pantheon: My YA thesis project for my Masters in Fiction. It follows a new pantheon of gods known as Totems, and how they mettle with human life. It will be a series, and the first book will be about five unlikely friends teaming up to find the missing Totem of Creativity

🌊 Sapphire Creek: a YA horror thriller novel about a college no one can leave. The woods surrounding it holds a mysterious monster at bay, and a group of students work together to investigate the monster, and try to find a way to stop it before it destroys the school.

Pretty sure Friren and Himmel claimed this song. But it also fits my characters. Many of my characters have tragic romances, and never get to see the end of their joinery together.

AoTD: For me, there’s plenty of things I want to change. But the crucial component of wanting to make change is learning how to facilitate it. Everyone is in charge of their own lives, but it takes a certain amount of confidence to facilitate it.
