“I hear America singing, her varied carols I hear.” - Walt Whitman

Nothing attested, everything sung, writes Etruscan poet H. L. Hix, echoing Whitman. Since our first release, September 11, 2001: American Writers Respond, Etruscan has been publishing books that are timely and timeless. The books we publish would not exist without the support of readers like you—those interested in sustaining the work of independent presses publishing quality literature. 📖 ♥️

Help us continue to show what an independent, non-profit literary press can do: orchestrate the literary music of authors not often heard in the mainstream. Help us show that books matter because they sing. 🎶

Join Etruscan’s varied carols by making a tax-deductible contribution today. Click the link in our bio or visit etruscanpress.org/support 🔗

Congratulations to @watershipdowd and happy release day to The Taste of Rain in Buenos Aires!

“In these stories, Will Dowd offers readers a portal into the wonderful and surreal delight of imagination. Lyrical and imagistic, unexpected and sometimes weird in the very best way, these stories caught me exactly like the swift undertow of a dream’s current and tugged me into a world much more vivid that that of my everyday life. Reading this book reminded me that story, at its best, is always both revelation and play. I loved it.”
