I never grew up being comfortable around women. Even now, it’s still a struggle. I was never close with my mother, and I grew up in toxic friendships around toxic women, all experiencing their own pain.

I am so grateful for how far I’ve come and for the women I’ve met as I’ve continued to age. Just after turning 25, I attended this women’s retreat hosted by a dear friend, Ray, and Claudia — Return to Softness

The immense amount of safety I felt here is something I’ve only experienced a few times. I was me. I was big, I was loud, I took up a lot of space, I made bad jokes and good ones, and I was seen as me. And most importantly, I was accepted.

Being accepted as I was allowed me to just continue showing up as myself. The people around me perceived me without judgment, and that allowed me to expand endlessly ᭄᭡ ͏ ͏ ͏ taken in Nevada City, California by @amara.heck

How beautiful it is to travel to Peru with someone you love.

Any moment of doubt or fear quickly dissolves when you look over and see your person right there beside you. And when you zoom out for a moment, you realize just how small you and this person are in such a big, beautiful world—doing all of these uncomfortable, unfamiliar things together.

9 of us women went into the Wild West and we were TESTED by the elements!! So much wind and way colder than the forecast showed—but we prevailed. We came out stronger, more grounded, more enlightened.

Our first festival set at Sound Camp 𖦹 This journey has been so rewarding, scary, and fun. We’re so lucky to have each other to make it all a little easier! We can’t wait to see where the music will take us and what 2026 has in store. Can’t wait for more collabs — keep an ear out for our new single “Faded Memory” 𓂈 dropping November 21st 𝄞

Two weeks on the road was a wild ride. Stripped from routine and comfort, we were constantly met with new challenges that kept us on our toes and fully present. We got stuck, ran out of gas, overheated, froze, had the fridge break down, bumped our heads more times than I can count, laughed, learned, and almost killed each other a few times. 𖥸

We had a loose plan and let the rest unfold, which led us to some amazing places and even more amazing people. I’m so happy my dog could join us and see the world the way he deserves. ⏾⋆.˚

I turned 24 in this van, and after this trip, I feel clear, grounded, and full of new goals and expectations for myself. So grateful𐦍 taken in All Around the World by @amara.heck

I know I’ve been posting a lot of Electric Forest content, but we drove 20 hours to Michigan for our very first Forest—and honestly, we had no idea what we were walking into. It ended up being one of the most surreal and transformative experiences ⏾ It was magical, overwhelming, hilarious, emotional, inspiring, and totally eye-opening all at once ☀︎ We danced, cried, laughed, got lost (literally and figuratively), and came out the other side with full hearts and so many wild memories ♡⸝⸝ taken in Electric Forest by @amara.heck

We’ve shared some mixes here before, but we haven’t fully introduced the deeper vision behind what we’re building — now officially under the name Vertical Circles𖦹

Whether you’ve been following for a while or are just arriving, this project was born from our shared love, aligned purpose, and desire to create something that resonates beyond just sound. We’re here to make music that bridges worlds — frequencies that root the body and uplift the spirit, guiding consciousness upward and inward 𓁹

A vertical circle, in celestial terms, is a line that passes through both the zenith and nadir — the highest and lowest points. We chose this name intentionally, as we’re sonically exploring that full spectrum: light and shadow, masculine and feminine, the seen and unseen. This is about bridging duality through sound 𓍝

We’ve put a lot of love, intention, and deep listening into this… and we’re finally ready to start sharing it with you.

Our first single, Lucid, drops Friday, August 1st. It would mean so much if you could pre-save it (link in bio).

Just over three weeks in Hawaii, our motherland 𖤓 I left home, faced my fears, and pushed my boundaries, traveling alone. I met incredible souls, and the learning never stopped. I’m deeply grateful for this life. This land is powerful—she is alive and well, but she demands our respect.
