𝘌 𝘳𝘢 𝘣𝘳𝘦𝘦𝘥𝘪 𝘈𝘨𝘦𝘨𝘦.. Not only did the sweet melodious voice of the Bread Seller awaken my appetite, the fresh butter-like smell of the bread followed suit. From a distance, Her voice announced her arrival and the aroma of the bread accompanied it - such happiness to know that you'll be eaten fresh from the oven, like literally!⁣
⁣
As a growing child and teenager, sometimes every Saturday, I looked forward to seeing her passby that meant buying soft sukulent squeezable fresh hot bread, and sometimes I'd add Bama or Margarine, other times akara or Beans would be a fitting topping for an enriching satisfaction.

𝘎𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘶𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘥𝘢𝘺 𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘥𝘢𝘪𝘭𝘺 𝘣𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘥⁣

While doing the dishes today, the Holy Spirit made me realize the importance of this prayer - Jesus is so wise, like, this prayer pattern is really amazing. Now I don't mean Agege Bread or any other bread or food, but God's Word. Yes, the physical food is also needed and important but truly ".......𝘮𝘢𝘯 𝘴𝘩𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘭𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘣𝘺 𝘣𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘥 𝘢𝘭𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘣𝘺 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺 𝘞𝘰𝘳𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘤𝘦𝘦𝘥𝘴⁣

Lately, I've been made to understand the importance of Daily Bible Study, Meditation, and giving myself entirely to God's Word, like these days I literally hunger for it, I look forward to it.⁣

David said "𝘔𝘺 𝘴𝘰𝘶𝘭 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘳𝘴𝘵 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘦 𝘪𝘯 𝘢 𝘥𝘳𝘺 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘱𝘢𝘳𝘤𝘩𝘦𝘥 𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘥" like a desire to know what God's says about this, wants me to do, etc.⁣

I tell you there's something that God's Word does much more than advice and counsel; Godly advice and counsel is great please don't get me wrong. There's this peace and assurance. Days of anxiety, fear and worry - God's Word has really been my Anchor. I'm so thankful.. I'm so thankful for Daily Bread! 📍GRACE, MERCY, LOVE

This is really me; every where, every thing, every time - through it all God's Grace, Mercy and Love is what my life is about. Through it all, through it all (His healing process in my mind, body, etc).... Lord I'm grateful.

A child’s understanding of who they are doesn't develop overnight. It is shaped by what they hear, what they experience, and the truths they encounter repeatedly.

That is why planting the seeds of faith early matters. 🌱

In the early years, children are beginning to understand themselves, their relationships, and the world around them. It is an opportunity to introduce them to the truth that they are created in God's image, wonderfully made, and loved by Him.

But teaching a child about God's love goes beyond helping them memorise Bible verses.

It shows up in how we correct them without shaming them, listen without dismissing them, and make room for them to ask questions as they grow in faith.

We want children to know God's Word, but we also want our everyday interactions to reflect the love and grace we teach them about.

A truth planted early can become a foundation they return to as they grow.

📖 Scriptures to explore: Genesis 1:26–27, Psalm 139:13–14, 1 John 3:1, Mark 10:13–16, and Deuteronomy 6:6–7.

FOLA'S — FAITH, FEET & FIELD | EPISODE 5 🌿

Sometimes the hardest goodbye isn’t to a person — it’s to the version of your life you thought you were building.

Fola finally confronts Kunle about the lies, the secrecy, and the betrayal she can no longer ignore. This time, she isn’t angry.

Built between 2 and 8

The confidence you see in a 16-year-old didn't appear overnight — it was built in a thousand small moments before age 8.

🧠 Ages 2–3 (Autonomy vs. Shame & Doubt): "I do it myself." When we let toddlers try, stumble, and try again, they will build.

🏗️ Ages 3–6 (Initiative vs. Guilt): Block towers. Mud pies. "I made this!" Praised effort becomes purpose. Constant correction becomes guilt.

📚 Ages 6–8 (Industry vs. Inferiority): Reading, building, finishing what they start. Recognition — not perfection — builds the belief "I am capable."

By 16, a teenager isn't inventing confidence from scratch. They're drawing on thousands of moments where an adult said "try again" instead of "stop, you'll ruin it."

Scripture reminds us this work is sacred:

"Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it." — Proverbs 22:6

"Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord." — Ephesians 6:4

"Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these." — Matthew 19:14

For parents, teachers, and anyone shaping a child's early years: **the small decisions are the whole curriculum.**
