As much as I hate to say it, my senior season of wrestling is officially over. I was blessed to have great coaches, both from my club @scorpionswrestlingofficial and Bloomfield High School. I want to thank my mom @coachyessmont for forcing me to sign up in 8th grade and making me train until failure. I am more than grateful for the experiences and friends I have made at BHS. I'm so glad I was able to be a part of Bloomfield’s Girls Team and be a starter for both the girls' AND boys' sides. Ever since I signed up for wrestling, nothing about it was easy, and nothing like softball. Meeting people like the underclassmen I'm saying goodbye to now and even reconnecting with people I met in 8th grade on the team made me so happy.

The way states turned out ended up being the way it started for me my freshman year with the same record for the day. As much as I hate the losses, all I can do is mature and grow. Holding grudges and hating myself does nothing for my future. I had the best support system of my girls and the guys who showed up once in a while to cheer.

Thank you wrestling. I appreciate what you've taught me and how you kept me in shape. How you made me strong, how you gave me friends I won't forget, and losses that tested how much I wanted it. Thank you for giving me people that I can rely on. For now, it's on to the next sport!

Goodbye wrestling, God has another path, and I hope that one day we cross paths again 🙏 by @amazon_ahlexa
