Fish of a lifetime.

Tried something a little different than usual and 10 casts in this fish about ripped the rod out of my hands and began towing me around. Fighting and landing this fish from the kayak was absolute insanity. After a poor measurement in the yak (struggled keeping the fish straight, forgot to pinch the tail, and didn’t want to stress the musky out - this fish showed 48.5”). I guess I’ll never know for sure but I think an honest measurement would have had this fish hitting that 50” mark.

It doesn’t really matter to me whether it did or didn’t because at the end of the day I’ll remember this one forever!
