Expansion to me feels like wholeness, truth, love, unexplained joy. My intention going into this retreat was to be expanded. What I’ve noticed in my life is whatever my intention is going into something, that is exactly what I receive. It may be in a different way than expected, but it’s there. Ask and you shall receive (you’ve probably heard that one before).
One of the classes at the retreat was on lenses. In which lens am seeing through? Is there a way to look through a different lens to change how I have perceived this experience in my life? It could be the seemingly worst thing that’s ever happened to you in your life and instead of looking at it through the lens of victimhood, you could switch to a lens of a warrior. So you can switch the framing from “this happened TO me” to “this happened FOR me”. You can begin to see how everything is here to help you GROW and BECOME because there is something to be learned and taken from every situation. You can begin to say THANK YOU to every hardship for making you that much stronger and resilient. And when gratitude becomes the default, life begins looking verrrry different. More beauty. More magic. More meaning. But it is a process. It’s something that has to be consciously chosen daily. And the more you practice, the easier it becomes. Just like anything I suppose.
So I invite you to soften into a little moment of gratitude today and instead of letting a challenge harden you, see what it has to offer you. It is all a gift!
With that being said, this week was an absolute divine gift!! I feel extremely blessed & lucky to experience such an incredible place! A few months ago I had no idea I would be in New Zealand, let alone (probably) the most pristine place I’ve ever been to! Wowowow. Just really taking it all in and enjoying every moment of it.
Life is such a beautiful gift and I’m so grateful to be apart of it all.

WOW what a week it has been!! We celebrated @jacob_fowler_ 's birthday in the most EPIC house in Palm Springs @wanderyranch @staywandery

@jessicastocker_ planned the entire thing and hosted the ultimate game of Survivor. She truly went alllllll out for this one....the challenges, the props, the hidden immunity idols, the camera crew, so much went into it!! Every detail was thought out. My team absolutely crushed it! You'll have to wait for the mini series to see who won ;)

Leaving this week feeling so incredibly grateful for such amazing friends in my life. It's not lost on me how beautiful and full this life is. I'm surrounded by so much love. These are memories I'll never forget and I just feel so lucky 🙏 taken in Palm Springs, California by @amberjoystocker

the ache softens when...
I remember the through line
& I remember this too shall pass
That it's all part of this life stream
There's a river that my life is apart of
& I mustn't get too caught up in the shallow water
Or the rocks that come into my path
I let go and I float
I look up at the blue sky & the green trees
& notice that I am here to experience it all
aches & the ecstasy
heartbreak & love
Every ounce is a gift
So I float down this river
& give thanks to my Creator
For this magical, beautiful existence
Yes there is pain
But also so so much beauty
I don't need to ignore the ache, it is my teacher
I listen and continue
I am connected to my aliveness so deeply that I will do anything
"Rage, rage against the dying of the light"
That is me. I rage in my own unique way
I'm not afraid of starting over and re-planting
But I am afraid of disconnecting to my own life force
& the dying of the light
So I will do anything and that is my super power
