Hi. Here is our personal story. And a friendly reminder. Thank you for taking the time to read. I’m hoping that by sharing our story, it raises awareness and understanding. Pictured here is Denali and I after one of his cardiologist appointments sporting N95 duck masks graciously provided to us by @project.n95

I am tagging some amazing pages and communities who are helpful, informative, supportive and the most caring people around who I am forever grateful for. @peoplescdc @masktogetheramerica @theacecoalition @berlin_buyers_club by @amberlarks

“Remembering a Rainbow’s Shadow”

24 x 30in, oil on canvas, 2026

thinking about : being present in the beauty of the world around us while holding space for the truths and histories of the land we live on

visualizing : a soul’s search // dreamscapes // the interconnectedness of time and space // flower fields

I made this piece while reflecting on the “America” I was taught/ believed in growing up vs the “America” I understand now, a d3ath machine run on capitalism and the continuing horrors of g3nocide and colonialism

I am inspired by past generations, my ancestors, and my community for pushing back on these forces; for never losing hope to care for each other and the earth

The natural world gives me grounding - what a miracle to exist on a floating space rock filled with life. I’m in awe every day of the magic around me, and I hope that sentiment resonates through this painting

This piece will be part of “Last Call for America” group show at @free_parking_space in downtown LA . Opening 10.03.2026 by @amberlarks

soul searching in the studio. wanted to take a moment to say thanks to everyone who has ever taken a chance on me, opened doors, supported my work, been a mentor, been a friend. the art world is an enigma and i know no two paths are the same but sometimes its really easy to feel lost! esp as someone who didn’t go to art school.. idk this app is a highlight reel so i wanted to share something honest. hope everyone is hanging in and finding ways to find joy in late stage capitalism /environmental collapse. I’ve been largely off social media, painting, gardening, reading, watching movies / Breaking Bad for the first time, and most importantly, spending time with our cats by @amberlarks
