Sending courage, peace, comfort, and love to @carrottoplive and the entire CT crew. ❤️

I was performing on and off in Fantasy at the Luxor when Scott first opened in the Atrium Theater in 2005. Our shows actually shared the stage, with Fantasy following Carrot Top’s show, so for 12 years I got to share that unique backstage world with Scott, his crew, and his frequent celebrity friends.

He was always incredibly nice, warm, personable, and just an all-around great human. He’d often stop in to chat with the ladies of Fantasy after his show and before ours, and he’d gift us wine.

He and his crew were always respectful, professional, and genuinely great to work alongside.

Scott, I hope you can feel all the love and positive energy coming your way from Vegas and from people all over the world who adore you. I’ve been reading countless posts and messages from people sharing their positive interactions with you and stories of your kindness.

And as a fellow redhead, I have to give you props—you helped make being a redhead cool, right alongside Lucille Ball, Jessica Rabbit, and Ariel. 😉

Sending you strength. Vegas is rooting for you. ❤️

-Layla with Carrot Top backstage, Layla posing on Scott’s Crown throne, and me trying to match my fellow ginger.

Traveled to Athens, GA to watch my DCC sister @rebeltanea kick ass on @aew for “Rebel Heart Dynamite.” ❤️

I couldn’t be more proud of her — her strength, her heart, and her unwavering determination to help raise money for @iamalsorg and support the search for research, treatments, and solutions.

Getting to experience the incredible outpouring of love from the wrestling community for Rebel was beautiful, and being able to reconnect with friends from memorable chapters of my past made the trip even more special.

So proud of you, T; you continue to inspire, fight, and bring people together in the most wonderful way. Love you dear friend❤️

All 7 episodes of Lucky are now streaming on Apple TV!

I was cast as Anya’s stand-in while the show filmed at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. A week before production began, I worked closely with the Director, Director of Photography, and 1st AD as they developed their creative vision before the full cast and crew arrived.

We filmed a full week in Vegas, working nights into sunrise. I’d perform in Purple Reign and then head straight to set to continue working through the night.

I was then asked to continue as Anya’s stand-in for the remaining 3½ months of filming in Los Angeles. Her character changes from long red hair to a short blonde bob, so my old cruise-ship blonde bob came in perfectly handy!

Over those four months, I worked alongside an incredibly talented, kind, and focused cast and crew. I made a point of getting to know as many people on set as possible and welcoming everyone—from day players to recurring actors. Standing in for #1 means I’m on set A LOT, so I prioritized greeting people by name and creating connections.

I met so many wonderful people along the way and spent countless hours on set getting to know them—I miss you all!

There’s something really special about being part of a production like this: the long hours, the shared exhaustion, the early morning workouts and Tesla charges, the little moments between takes, and the friendships that grow along the way. I feel incredibly grateful that I got to experience it all.

I will always cherish those four months. Thank you to everyone who welcomed me, included me, and had me along for the ride. @anyataylorjoy, you are a gem, and I’m an even bigger fan after getting to experience your warmth and loveliness up close each day. I’ll be talking about this magical experience forever.

And a huge thank you to the friends who cared for my pups and let me crash with them. Without you, I couldn’t have said yes to this opportunity.

I sure am lucky.

I recently got to visit my funny, fearless friend, @rebeltanea, for a couple of days. ❤️

Over the years, we’ve shared so many unforgettable experiences together—cheering on the Cowboys, performing at biker rallies, entertaining US troops in war zones on military tours as Purrfect Angelz, members of Lingerie Football League, and even being roommates in L.A.

Tanea’s been diagnosed with ALS, and she’s faced this disease with incredible courage, grace, and selflessness while raising awareness and inspiring so many along the way. Spending time with her was such a gift, and I continue to be amazed by her strength, resilience, and unwavering spirit.

Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers as she continues this journey. I love you, Tanea, and I’m so grateful for our friendship. ❤️

Tanea is an ambassador for @iamalsorg and you can support her by purchasing #rebelheart shirt & bracelet @shopaew with all proceeds going to iamals.org by @amberstrauser

Welcome back to Quick Tip Tuesday — your weekly glimmer into understanding your ride.

For today’s quick tip: the importance of handlebar height.

Your handlebar height should be in line with your saddle, or just a notch above. This allows for a 90-degree hip angle, whether you’re in or out of the saddle.

A 90-degree hip angle recruits more of your posterior chain — glutes, hamstrings, and lower back stability. Most of what we do in life happens in front of us, so the front of the body often becomes stronger than the back, creating imbalance.

This imbalance can limit hip mobility, affect movements like squatting and bending, and even increase stress at the knees and ankles.
The more upright the spine, the more quad-dominant the movement becomes. And let’s be honest… I’ve never heard one song about sexy quadriceps — have you?
But glutes? That’s a different story. A strong posterior chain equals better power, better alignment, and yes — the muscles everyone’s trying to build… or buy.

Do yourself a favor — adjust your handlebars for better form, better alignment, and stronger posterior chain development.

Thanks for clipping in — I’ll see you next week.
Remember: this ride doesn’t end when the music stops.
One wheel. One love. Ride on.

Do you know what muscles you’re targeting when you drop your elbows?

It comes down to intention.

Neutral spine with a hip hinge? You’re targeting your triceps.
Core engaged with spinal flexion? You shift the work into your rectus abdominis — similar to a
floor crunch.

Your instructor should cue this — tricep press or crunch. If not, choose the muscle group you
want to work and execute with intention.

Because how you move matters just as much as that you move.

Thanks for clipping in — I’ll see you next week.

If your wrists or shoulders start to ache during chest pushes, alignment might be the reason.

I call this a chest push, not a push-up, because floor form doesn’t translate to the bike.
On the floor, your body weight loads more into your chest and shoulders. Whereas, on the bike, your weight stays supported through your pelvis, leaving very little weight in your hands.

Stack your shoulders over your wrists while keeping your pelvis hovering over the saddle and your knees behind the resistance knob. You may need to adjust your grip to avoid impinging your shoulders. Keep in mind, everyone’s grip will differ based on torso length.

If your torso drifts forward, stress shifts into your shoulders, elbows, and wrists because your hips are no longer hovering over your saddle and your knees are crossing the resistance knob.

If your wrists move behind your shoulders, your spine may round and your hips may tuck to compensate because the saddle prevents hinging.
For proper technique, keep your spine neutral, shoulders stacked, hips hovering, knees back, and hinge from your hips.

Also, avoid inverting your fingers.
Sweaty hands reduce friction and increase slip risk.
Whether you have a middle bar or not, wrap your grip with intention. It creates a stable foundation, recruits more muscle fibers, and supports better output.
Inverting your fingers can also cause elbows to flare, which may lead to shoulder impingement and pain.
Think ARROW with your elbows, not a “T” shape.

Alignment isn’t aesthetic.
It’s safe.
It’s strong.
It’s smart riding.

Thanks for clipping in — I’ll see you next week.
