New friendships built, new artists discovered, new inspirations, new routes to dreams, new titles, and hopefully new partnerships. 🤞 Excited to see where it all leads. Cheers to another successful SXSW.

A few weeks ago my entire world was turned upside down when I was diagnosed with Breast cancer. It was an absolute shock to anyone and I still haven’t fully processed it. Unfortunately it is the most aggressive type of Breast cancer so I will need some super intensive Chemotherapy immediately to make sure it doesn’t grow anymore. That will of course absolutely wreck my immune system and just make me sick overall and I won’t be able to work for at least 6 months. I’m also looking to try some integrative treatments alongside the chemo to give my body a fighting chance to beat this. Now as we all know, Life doesn’t stop for anything and I still have my little girl to take care of. My friends have started a Gofundme for me that I’m gonna link in my Bio. If you can help in any way possible I’ll be forever grateful, if not please just share it with everyone you know. I have an amazing support team around me and I know I’ll get through this. I will take you all through this Journey with me and keep you updated on here. Thank you all ❤️ by @ambrastone

Guysssss! Whattttt?!?! 😭 I’m so honored to be in the @recordingacademy’s class of 2025, a Grammy voting member. Yes you read that right, I’m now a voting member of the Recording Academy (Grammy’s).

So honored to join such an epic group of humans in the music industry spanning all categories, uniting in making this industry, and The Grammy’s, that much betted (and more diverse).

I’ve spent my entire career fighting for the underdog, fighting for independence, fighting for change while also ushering all of these things in without anyone’s approval or endorsements. Now, by being a voting member of the Recording Academy, I can help usher in even more from such a prominent space.

So honored to join my peers as a voting member and even more excited to keep pressing forward in my own career in the music industry.

Thank you to my stellar friends for endorsing me: @jwwheel for being such a kind generous mentor who carved out time like clock work to ensure we stay growing together. You’re such a boss, to @geoff__duncan for being a creative sounding board with me and helping me navigate the journey of releasing full bodies of work with ease and for having no creative off switch. You’re a legend friend, and for @lifehikeswithmichelle for being such a strong boss women who is lifting up this industry, specifically women, one by one with grace and love being on the forefront. You are a force ma’am 🤗. These people vouched for the work I do and ultimately made this possible for me. I cannot thank you guys enough.

Here’s to a year of diving deeper with peers on the biggest stage in the music industry. I’m deeply honored and humbled to represent the industry in this way with love, compassion, diversity and creativity on the forefront.

And thank you to by @nashvilleunsigned team for trusting I won’t drive this movement off a cliff 😂 you guys are the real MVPs

Honestly, when I was stuck in jobs I hated, I prayed for work like this. Creative, meaningful, purposeful work and maybe where I can travel a little bit. It felt like it was so far out of reach in real time, but fast forward, feels like I was always doing this. Not quite sure where the flip happened but maybe it was small and slow, inside of each step forward.
-
Now, I’ve been full time in the music business for 8 years, running my own company and helping others run theirs. The fact that traveling is also inside of the work I do, just felt like a wink from God.
-
Im just so honored to get to do the work that I do, while I stay learning and growing even more. I can’t wait to see what I’m doing in 10 years
-
All in all the message here is to keep dreaming kids, it’s worth it. I hope I never stop dreaming.
-
Anyways this was my week at @a2im ‘s @indieweekofficial - all of the independent record labels and partner companies all come together for a week. And I also split my time over at @tribeca film fest and conference. It was a very busy 5 days. The last day I decided since I had dumped so much energy outward, I was going to fill up my own energy by spending a handful of hours biking Central Park. Did not disappoint. 🫰 The balance is REAL these days.
-
Oh, and we got to hang with @wyclefjean for the @openwav_official launch nbd 😆
