What a crazy summer! If you didn’t know I was one of the artists chosen to be part of the 2026 Artist in Residency cohort with @daphneartfdn and we had our very successful opening on September 18th. I am so grateful for the mentorship by @americanprintmaker and the help of @slightlykass and Nick Lewis during the residency. It was amazing to work with the other 6 artists, two of which were former students of mine!!! All their works are breathtaking. Big thanks to @daphneartfdn for everything they do for the arts in Laredo.
This cohort pushed me to get out of my comfort zone, grow my digital skills, try new things, and speed up my workflow. The AIR 26 exhibit will be on display at Casa Daphne until October 31 and will be open this weekend for Caminarte from 6-9. If you miss Caminarte it will be open Thursdays from 6-8. #arte #toyart #arttoys #wrestling #artresidency by @ambush.bug

It converts ambient sound vibrations into powerful light and energy that it uses to attack its enemies and defend the innocent.
