Two years ago, I stood in this exact place as an Iron Island competitor. I was four months postpartum. This year we went back to judge.

What a lot of people didn’t know back then was that, I was also battling postpartum depression. I was struggling in ways I couldn’t explain, and I barely recognised myself anymore.

It was so special seeing what @strongwithsoph and the team have built, and watching so many people push themselves through something that once felt impossible to me.

My endurance journey started here.

Two years later, I’ve completed two Hyrox events and on Sunday, I ran my second half marathon.

I worked really hard on myself to get here, but I also know I didn’t do it alone.

Find your people.

The ones who wait for you. Who push you. Who believe in you on the days you don’t believe in yourself. Who remind you of who you are when you’ve forgotten.

Do it for you. Do it for your kids. And surround yourself with people who make you want to become the strongest, happiest version of yourself.

You are not your hardest season. 🤍

Sometimes, you just need to take the first step - and trust that you’ll figure out the rest along the way. ⭐️ by @ameena.musthapha

Finished my first half marathon - and crossed the finish line with my baby girl 🤍

To every mama out there: you are stronger than you think. Don’t let anyone convince you otherwise.

So grateful to have @inaaam for pacing me through this half marathon.

@naveedcader I couldn’t have done this without you. So grateful for being so supportive with everything I sign up for.

And @dilhan78 and my family 🤍

Hyrox Delhi 🇮🇳

Two months of early mornings, long workdays and squeezing in training whenever we could.

The aches definitely came with it - Iodex Spray became a staple in our gym bags.
