Musings for my friends headed off to college for the first time:
If you’re translucent toned like myself and you’re headed off to college…

it’s very important that you surround yourself with people who may not be as translucent as you are,

only surrounding yourself with porcelain dolls will make your world small, ignorant, and boring

and who wants a small boring world?

A small boring world means that you will miss the beauty

that is found in embracing and befriending ALL HUMANS not just the ones that look like you

don’t worry there will never be a ⚪️ shortage

buy the BIG LEMONADE

SPEAK UP when you see dummies or injustice

Take CRINGE pictures that you will laugh at in 30 years

Get physical, your metabolism’s future depends on it

It’s a lot harder to get fit in your 40’s if you weren’t in your 20s TRUST

Be WHIMSICAL fuck cringe it’s only cringe because the algorithm said so

Fuck the algorithm there is so much MORE BEAUTY in life when you put your phone down

Try new things, things that are scary, things that are

WEIRD

VOTE please don’t let anyone tell you your VOTE doesn’t matter. It affects so much of everything you do in life. VOTE for president ofc but vote in your locals and state as well.

REST college is a vibe and it’s fun and fomo is real but take care of your mind body and soul drink water and

For GOD SAKE always always COVER YOUR DRINK WITH YOUR HAND NO MATTER WHAT

last but not least CALL UR MOM (and if she sucks like mine did) call me!! Moms are gonna be struggling with happy sad pride for the next few months. Your calls will be gold. CALL MOM always. taken in Chicago, Illinois by @amelialsawyer
