It’s year thirty-fine🎉

I’m so blessed, favored, loved and cherished.

This birthday has uplifted and encouraged me for so many reasons. Life is such a precious gift. I’m so grateful to be alive and to have such beautiful souls in my life.

At 31, in the middle of my divorce, I decided to start over and build a new career.

At 34, I made another decision.

I went back to the University of Michigan to finish my degree.

Neither decision was easy. There were a lot of unknowns, and honestly, there still are.

My life hasn’t turned out the way I thought it would. Some days I still grieve that. But I’ve realized something…

Maybe it was never just about getting through the hard moments.

Maybe it was about who I was becoming because of them.

If you’re standing at a crossroads, wondering whether to stay where it’s comfortable or take the risk, I hope you bet on yourself.

The unknown is scary. But sometimes it’s the very thing that changes your life.

One class. One step. One decision at a time.🌹
