American Prime (AP) is faith based 501c3 that provides premier hand-to-hand combatives training for America’s elite warriors and protectors.

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

The legacy of our program founder @rickylundell isn’t just trophies. For over a decade, Ricky has built Combatives programs behind America’s elite operators - Navy SEALs, DEA, Homeland Security, and other special tactics team.

That’s what American Prime was built for. To pass that lineage forward. To take the systems tested in combat and hand them to the next generation of war fighter - men and women training for something far greater than competition.

In their arena, there are no lights, no crowds and no second chances. Only courage, composure, and conviction.

Built for battle. Rooted in faith. We are American Prime.

We rely on folk style wrestling as our foundation. It’s arguably the oldest martial art in human history. Built to break balance, dominate position, and end the fight on your terms.

For today’s operator, that translates directly to control in the clinch, takedowns in gear, and establishing dominance in any position so you can remain lethal or get back to your feet and be a gunfighter again.

Winning is Not just an action, it is a mindset.

A King must tell himself WHY he is chasing a goal and HOW he will achieve that goal.

You can do this same exercise for any goal you set. Putting it on paper to refer back to is crucial for days when you just don’t feel like trying.

Follow for more guidance on becoming a King on the Mat and a King in Life.

Every day I step into the gym with @rondarousey , I’m reminded how rare greatness really is.

She’s exceptional — not just in ability, but in heart, leadership, and commitment.

To do this with the best team and training partners in the world is something we never overlook.

No entitlement. Just gratitude.

Beyond blessed.

Modern combatives treats Muay Thai and BJJ as the “foundations.” Not because they’re built for real violence, but because they look good on camera and dominate sport culture.

The problem? Both were designed for one-on-one fights with refs, rules, and safe surfaces.

Real violence isn’t a match. It’s multiple attackers, weapons in play, gear, chaos, and zero protection.

That’s why true combatives has to rise above sport. It’s not about what’s popular. It’s about what works when survival is the only metric.

We hope the operators out there are training for reality. Not for the highlight reel. Let us help you.

American Prime is a faith based 501c3. Our ministry is Combatives for the American warrior. DM us to support our mission of using wrestling to build the physical and spiritual fitness of America’s elite gun fighters.
