Hind Rajab was a 5-year-old Palestinian girl killed in Gaza in January 2024. She was trapped in a car after her family was killed and called the Red Crescent for help. The paramedics sent to rescue her were also killed.

Her body was found 12 days later. In August 2026, Israel acknowledged that its soldiers had fired at the vehicle and opened a criminal investigation. Hind was killed by 350 bullets fired by Israeli soldiers. by @amirasalemishere

Palestinians in Gaza are less focused on the politics of negotiations than on whether an agreement will bring an end to attacks, unrestricted aid and a return home, Al Jazeera’s Hani Mahmoud reports. by @amirasalemishere

Ziko, screaming for Lamine Yamal in the World Cup final. ⚽️❤️

A lot of you have been asking if Ziko is safe. If he’s still alive.

He is. Right now, he’s just a kid, losing his mind over a football match, the way every kid should get to.

That’s the part that gets lost: for every child like Ziko who gets to grow up, laugh, and cheer for his favorite player, there are thousands in Gaza who never got that chance.

Lamine Yamal has stood with Palestine publicly, more than once. So when Ziko cheers for him, it’s not just about football.

This is what survival looks like. Protect it. by @amirasalemishere

One thousand days.

The world counts numbers. Gaza remembers names.

We are still documenting, still bearing witness, still searching for truth beneath the dust.

History will remember. The question is whether humanity remembered in time. by @amirasalemishere

I’ve really missed being out on the trails… just walking, breathing, and noticing all the little signs of Allah’s mercy in His creation.

It’s easy to forget how much we have until you slow down and just see it.

The Prophet ﷺ reminded us to look at those who have less than us so we don’t overlook our own blessings. by @amirasalemishere

In a place where freedom often feels out of reach, these young surfers have found their own way to chase it. 🌊. The sea cannot rebuild homes or erase hardship. But it offers something increasingly rare in Gaza: a sense of normality, freedom, and hope. by @amirasalemishere

Israel insists in sabotaging every attempt of joy for Palestinians in Gaza and the occupied territories. It works relentlessly to taint moments of celebration, whether Eid or any occasion that might bring happiness to the hearts of our children and families in Palestine.
Or the past two days, children, mothers and fathers have been killed and injured in Gaza. People are grieving over their loved ones instead of preparing for the Joy of Eid💔😔 by @amirasalemishere
