“pardon the way that i stare, there’s nothing else to compare. the sight of you leaves me weak, there are no words left to speak. but, if you feel like i feel, please let me know that it’s real, you’re just too good to be true, can’t take my eyes off of you.”

in 2018, a little girl from Ware County sat on a school bus trusting the promise that she would have the best week of her life. at the end of that week, she promised herself that she would be one of the people that changed lives the way they did hers. being S&R coordinator was truly my dream job. when people would ask me what my favorite part of it was i always said, “just watching them love what they do and love each other”. the magic these campers brought to this place left an abundance of love in our hearts and i couldn’t be prouder of how our counselors stewarded that love. this summer taught me that when you pursue any goal or even obstacle , do it out of love. where love lives, the magic will never die. taken in Rock Eagle 4-H Center by @amiyah.elam_

I had the TIME OF MY LIFE this summer at Rock Eagle 🦅!
It was so much fun from the moment we became “AMIYAH,CARTER,MACKENZIE” to when I was bawling my eyes out watching my own kids leave on the bus. All of the counselors from all 3 flights have inspired me sooo much and I’m so glad I stayed involved in 4h and became an S&R. I made so many new memories and friendships. I can’t wait to visit everyone at more activities. All of these people will have a special place in my heart forever and I’m soo excited for what the future has in store... and always remember, “PEACE SIGNS THUNDERBIRDS” 🍀♥️💙♥️🍀✌🏾✌🏾 by @amiyah.elam_
