Sometimes the venue tells you exactly where to start. The iconic black and white tile floors became the inspiration behind this entire design …classic, bold, and effortlessly timeless. From there, we layered in fresh pops of blue, lush greens, and crisp whites to bring the space to life. The result? A wedding design that feels romantic and colorful without losing that sophisticated, timeless quality we love. Proof that you don’t have to choose between colorful and classic. You can absolutely have both. Save this as detail inspo as you’re planning your wedding 😍 I absolutely loved the color pallet in this room. The table scape, cake, even the place settings were designed around the soft yellow and blue color pallet of this room. This was one of my favorite rooms to photograph at Elkins Estate! No matter how long I’ve been doing this, I’m still constantly blown away by the level of talent in the wedding industry. Planners, designers, floral teams, and many other insanely talented creatives came from all over the country to Elkins Estate this past week, and watching everyone bring their piece of the vision together was pretty incredible. What we all created together was truly a work of art. I have so much more to share from this one. And seriously, how stunning do Laura and Paul look!? 🤌 Photography: @toddgrahamphotography Host: @styledshootsacrossamerica Concept & Planning: @heatherbengeofficial Production Partners: @lacedwithgraceinfo , @amodernfete , @alexiamorgandesigns Venue: @elkinsestate Hair & Makeup: @makeupbyroxy Stationery: @elephant.limbo Cake: @cakehousedesign Event Rentals: @partyrentalltd Menswear: @friartux Gown: @millia.london Shoes: @sachlirene_tfota Bridal Accessories: @elizabethbowerofficial Bouquet: @superioreventsco Laura and Paul walking hand in hand at Elkins Estate in Philadelphia, with Laura wearing a one-shoulder white wedding gown and carrying a red-and-green floral bouquet, and Paul wearing a burgundy tuxedo jacket with black trousers. Grand architecture + Overflowing florals = my favorite thing to photograph 😍 Magic happens with @heatherbengeofficial & @houseofbernal collaborate 😍 Elkins Estate is an incredibly beautiful venue on its own, but adding just the right amount of florals truly brings this outdoor ceremony setup to life! For the couple who doesn’t just want their wedding to look beautiful, but wants every detail to mean something. The kind of couple who thinks about how the room will feel when their guests walk in. Who chooses every flower, every linen, every candle, every place setting with intention. Who wants the celebration to feel immersive, personal, generous, and completely unmistakably theirs. That is what I love so much about photographing weddings. And a place as extraordinary at the Elkins Estate already gives you soaring ceilings, gilded architecture, crystal chandeliers, painted murals, and old-world grandeur. But when a couple layers their own story into it through color, texture, florals, music, tablescapes, and the way they care for their guests, it becomes so much more than a beautiful room. It becomes a visual expression of their love. Not details for the sake of details. Not beauty just for the sake of a photograph. But a celebration designed to make the people they love feel something. And those are the weddings I want to photograph forever! Your wedding morning sets the tone for everything that follows. I always ask my couples to protect a pocket of quiet before the day takes over. No guests, no noise. Just you in the space. Those are the moments that carry into portraits.
