Every single couple I've worked with has told me they're awkward in front of a camera. And it's a natural feeling. You've probably never had a photo session before that was solely focused on you. You feel a little nervous and are unsure where to put your hands. I don't expect you to walk into this experience knowing what to do. My job is to guide you through it all from the planning part all the way to when you're in front of a camera. My only expectation of you is an open mind and the willingness to have some fun ☺️ Cover Photo & BTS Video Vendors: Host: @styledshootsacrossamerica Planning: @heatherbengeofficial Production Partners: @lacedwithgraceinfo | @amodernfete | @alexiamorgandesigns Venue: @elkinsestate Hair & Makeup: @makeupbyroxy Floral Design: @rosaspina Menswear: @friartux Gown: @millalondon Shoes: @sachlirene_tfota Bridal Accessories: @elizabethbowerofficial Models: @clickmodelsphiladelphia | @aprilmaroshick | @I.am.shaan

A little glimpse of Alyssa Minson Photography in the printed pages of Vanity Fair. ✨ When we were approached by the Condé Nast team at Vanity Fair with the opportunity to advertise our work, it felt like the perfect moment to share what Alyssa Minson Photography is all about. We’re Alyssa and Matt, a husband-and-wife photography and filmmaking team drawn to weddings with thoughtful design, beautiful light, expressive color, and a sense of romance that feels both effortless and unforgettable. We believe the best wedding imagery does more than document what happened. It captures the atmosphere of a place, the artistry behind the details, the love of the couple, the family relationships, and the in-between moments that make the celebration unmistakably yours. Because we work as two creative leads, we anticipate moments from different perspectives and create a cohesive collection that tells the story in its entirety. From colorful garden celebrations and European-inspired estates to destination weddings across the world, our approach is rooted in thoughtful composition, true-to-life color, genuine connection, and an appreciation for every creative detail that makes a wedding exceptional. We’re truly honored to be sought out and recognized by a publication as prestigious and iconic as Vanity Fair, and even more excited for the couples and planners who will find their way to us through it! #LuxuryWeddingPhotographer #DestinationWeddingPhotographer #LuxuryWeddingPhotography #Lightandairyweddingphotographer #highendweddingphotographer

Finally sharing from this shoot at the Elkins Estate 💛 Last month I traveled to Philadelphia to attend this styled shoot. I wanted to push myself to try something new, both creatively and travel-wise. I travel a lot within Michigan, Ohio, and Indiana. I even had a session at Disney World once (and I'd LOVE to go back) but I haven't really gone east. This shoot was absolutely stunning and the vendors really did a beautiful job pulling it all together 😍 Vendor Team: Host: @styledshootsacrossamerica Planning: @heatherbengeofficial Photography: @catieeovaldiphoto Production Partners: @lacedwithgraceinfo |  @amodernfete | @alexiamorgandesigns Venue: @elkinsestate Hair & Makeup: @makeupbyroxy Stationery: @elephant.limbo Floral Design: @houseofbernal Floral Assistant: @yellowfirefly Cake: @cakehousedesign Event Rentals: @partyrentalltd Menswear: @friartux Gown: @davidsbridal Shoes: @sachlirene_tfota  Bridal Accessories: @elizabethbowerofficial Models: @clickmodelsphiladelphia | @giavannaromero | @maxcafaro

EXCUSE ME, OCTOBER?! WHO GAVE YOU PERMISSION TO FLY BY THIS FAST?! 🍂😂 Seriously, how are we already this far into October?! I feel like I blinked, September disappeared, and now we're practically staring Thanksgiving and Christmas right in the face! And I'm not gonna lie, I have VERY mixed feelings about it. 😂 Part of me absolutely HATES how quickly time is flying. I want life to SLOW DOWN. I want more time to soak up these beautiful fall days, enjoy the crisp air, watch my babies grow, and just enjoy the season we're in. Because goodness gracious, these years are going by entirely too quickly. 🥹❤️ BUT THEN... There's the other part of me that's practically GIDDY because MY FAVORITE TIME OF YEAR IS COMING!!! 🎄🦃 Thanksgiving! Christmas! ALL THE TRADITIONS! The decorating, the Christmas music, the holiday activities, the family gatherings, the excitement, the anticipation, ALL OF IT! And honestly, as much as I've always loved the holidays, experiencing them through the eyes of my children has made them a thousand times more magical. Watching their faces light up, hearing their excitement, carrying on the traditions we've created as a family, and making memories that I hope they'll treasure long after they're grown. THAT is what I love most. ❤️ So here I am, simultaneously begging time to slow down while also practically counting the days until the holiday season begins. 😂 MAKE IT MAKE SENSE! Anyone else feeling this way?! Are you desperately trying to hold on to fall, or are you already dreaming of Christmas lights, Thanksgiving dinner, and all the holiday magic?! 🎄🍁❤️ Image captured with @styledshootsacrossamerica

Sometimes the venue tells you exactly where to start. The iconic black and white tile floors became the inspiration behind this entire design …classic, bold, and effortlessly timeless. From there, we layered in fresh pops of blue, lush greens, and crisp whites to bring the space to life. The result? A wedding design that feels romantic and colorful without losing that sophisticated, timeless quality we love. Proof that you don’t have to choose between colorful and classic. You can absolutely have both. Monday morning bridal portrait magic!! And a little wedding timeline PSA because these portraits took a solid 20 minutes to create. So many wedding day timelines give photographers less than 5 minutes for bridal portraits before we’re running off to the first look, couples portraits, family photos, wedding party photos, and everything else that comes next! And while I can absolutely make it work in a short amount of time, if beautiful, intentional bridal portraits are important to you with ample variety, please give them the time they deserve. Work with your photographer and planner to build in some dedicated bridal portrait time. Even 15–20 minutes can make such a difference in variety and creativity!
