09/09 — our baby girl is officially one year old corrected ✨ although this date isn’t her birthday, it still feels special. It’s the date we had in our minds for so many months. One of the nurses in the NICU told us that she hadn’t seen a 33 weeker like Margot for a long time — she was almost acting like a full term babe. There’s a quiet determination about her that we’ve seen since the very beginning, even in those early hospital days. Happy One Year Margie Moo 💛🌸

Lil bit of sunshine portraits from yesterday morning in my backyard. Playing with the late autumn morning light. Swipe for a behind the scenes look hehe 🌞

I find that I lean on self portraits when i’m going through some sort of transition. For me it’s a way to document myself in this moment. Growing and learning, just like my babies.

My most recent self portraits involve a lot of movement which talks to where I’m at; craving movement, moving through change, moving energy through my body (bit woowoo but whatever)

I’d love to try this at different times of the day to see how the light changes the feel of the photos. The harsh midday light means that not much can be hidden (maybe why I subconsciously hid my face with my hair?!)

Also shout out to my little brother and his band @fazedonapony 💛 I’ve not stopped listening to this song for an entire week 😎

Air-Dry Clay Easter Ornaments 🐣
I made these wee eggs for the kids — we plan to use them for our Easter egg hunt each Easter, with a chocolate egg as the end prize 🌟 these are pretty rough, and i do not consider myself an expert at clay at all lol. but i thought i’d share to give people some ideas for Easter crafts. i probably should have posted this a while ago to give people time to make them but i only just finished them 🤪 enjoy! 🥚
