Mid-week adventuring 🌻🌼🤍 @sarah__loraine by @amy_brule
Literally the best weekend. Thankful for family, deep connection, worship, long car rides, tears, joy, and lots and lots of laughter. Feeling filled up. 😌🦋 by @amy_brule
Happy to have these guys a whole lot closer 🙌 welcome to TN, twin. God sure is good to me. @molly_ledgerwood91 see ya soon 😉 by @amy_brule
“You’re my God in whom I trust, and I will hold fast to you in love…” This song came out of a season about 5 years ago that had me clinging to Psalm 91 over and over again (along with many of the Psalms, but especially that one). For a long time the only people who heard it were the kids I nannied, and honestly that felt really sacred to me. They’d always ask me to sing one of my songs before they went to sleep on the nights I was with them, and this was almost always the one they’d choose. They had no idea what it meant to me or what it came out of, but we’d sing it together and I would just pray those words would stay deep in their hearts. What they didn’t know was how much I felt the quiet affirmation of the Lord through them. Kids are the best. God is present in both the darkest of nights and the most joyful of days and everything in between. It’s the same now as it was when I first wrote it. He has shown Himself faithful. He’s been both a loving father and my closest friend. His gentle voice has sustained me through every season. If you haven’t known the Lord in that way I can assure you His desire is to make Himself known to you. “Anyone who comes to Him must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who earnestly seek Him” (Hebrews 11:6). He’s not distant. He draws near to those who draw near to Him. May He meet you the way He’s met me, in the lowest moments and in the highest. As someone who spent way too much time seeking fulfillment in all the wrong things, I can tell you there’s truly nothing like His presence. by @amy_brule
Evening walks, lots of pretty moments, taking it slow and soaking up all the sunshine I possibly can. Summertime is my fav. 🌸🌺🌤️🏖️🌊 by @amy_brule
Found some old gems and I’m convinced we really did the whole 90’s thing to the absolute fullest 🧡 by @amy_brule
Had the sweetest time celebrating our bday yesterday with the fam, well aside from officially having to say goodbye to the jeep ❤️‍🩹 and getting stuck in DC on my way there due to a freak accident on the tarmac (we made it, everything’s fine 🫠🥴). I can’t remember the last time I spent a birthday with my sisters, and @k8brule who’s basically our fourth sister 😉 So yeah, super grateful 🥲 Thankful for everything the Lord has done in the last year, through all the changes and all the constants. Feeling expectant for what this next year will hold, but really I’m still just out here learning how to trust Him more and more with each day. 🙏 by @amy_brule
Twin things 🫶🏻 So good having the fam here in TN this week 😌 by @amy_brule
Confession: I hate sharing my stuff on here. Truly. I’ll do it when I feel strongly the Lord asked me to, but even then, there’s always a wrestle. “There’s so much noise already. Everyone has something to say. Why add to it?” I was wrestling with Him yet again about this one when He said to me, “Because you’re giving it into My hands.” Then He said this: “Think of it like a potluck. You’re just bringing your dish to the table.” I always love the perspective He brings. We’re just all here for the party bringing our dishes to the table 😂. So here’s another dish to share. It won’t suit everyone’s taste, but then there are plenty more to choose from. 🍽️ I wrote this one a little while back on a random Tuesday. I could tell you the day… just an average, rainy day. Except that as I was driving home from the prayer house that night, I knew in my spirit something was about to be different. I felt filled with faith as the Lord impressed upon me about the things that were coming. The fulfillment of dreams. The fulfillment of promises. But even more—things I didn’t know I wanted—things that HE wanted. I was overwhelmed. I took the long way home and when I got home I started making dinner and He said, “Write.” When I asked what He wanted me to write about, He replied, “Tuesday.” Simple enough. So I sat down and just began recounting my day, and this was what it turned into. For anyone still waiting for that miracle—for the fulfillment of a promise—I’m right there with you. Lately I’ve been finding myself in the tension of walking through disappointment/grief, still praying for healing after 12+ years, and so many other things while simultaneously being so incredibly grateful for the fulfillment and breakthrough I am and have been seeing in my life and for the things that are still to come. When I really stop and think about it I can’t even believe it. But I really think true faith is to keep being faithful when the wait feels like it will never end. It’s there we discover He’s “enough for today.” Again and again and again. So if nothing else, I hope you feel your faith rise like I did the night I wrote this. Keep being faithful. But even if you’re not, He still is.✌️ by @amy_brule
Give me sun, let me shine☀️🌸 Ok summer can start now. More from this very full, beautiful weekend 🫶🏻🌴🦩 by @amy_brule
Had the best time celebrating one of my fav girls this weekend. The Lord knew what He was doing when He brought us to ministry school together 2 and a half years ago. Love that we can go from laughing so hard I run out of air one minute to worshipping and declaring over the year ahead the next. Can’t wait to see what’s in store for you this year, the best is yet to come 🏝️☀️🌸 by @amy_brule
