It’s been hard keeping this one under wraps for so long, I’m so excited to finally be able to share it!

I had the absolute pleasure of playing Anna Roosevelt, daughter of President Franklin D. Roosevelt - a journalist, writer and editor who became a trusted confidante to her father during WWII and later an advocate for women’s equality and human rights.

It was an honour to research this remarkable woman, and step into her shoes for this production.

5 Confidence Myths Holding You Back (Wait for #5 😱)

🚫 “I need to wait until I feel ready.”
Nope. If you feel ready, you’re in your comfort zone—not growing. Imagine if Taylor Swift, Viola Davis, or Steven Bartlett had waited. They didn’t. They did it anyway.

🚫 “Some people are just naturally confident—that’s why they succeed.”
Wrong. Emily Stone, Pedro Pascal, and Meryl Streep all battle self-doubt. They take action despite it. That’s confidence.

🚫 “I need to be at my ideal weight to feel confident.”
Your body shape has zero impact on your worth or what you can offer the world. Don’t buy into the myth that confidence comes from looking a certain way.

🚫 4/5 “They have good reasons to feel confident, I don’t.”
Confidence isn’t about having ‘reasons.’ Incompetent people often overestimate themselves, while competent ones underestimate themselves. The world needs more of the right people speaking up—like you.

Audiobook Sunrise Recording Day 2 Top Tip - Don’t choose annoying voices for characters that speak a lot!

It’s tempting to get creative - but think of the audience’s enjoyment for the whole book.

Select carefully, and only choose an annoying voice if the text calls for it, or save it for a small character with not much dialogue.

Serve the book first!

Plus you’ll thank yourself when you get halfway through as you’ll annoy yourself soon enough too 😉

Tip for Day 1 of Audiobook: Go slooooooowwww.

Start slow, slower than you think, you’ll thank yourself halfway through!

When you go slow you’re able to be in relax and focus mode. You read easier, be naturally more creative, and the end product will be so much better!

The slower you go, the faster the work… it means less mistakes, less breaking of your pace, your flow.

Recording an audiobook from literally the opposite side of the world!!!

My kind of Apres-Ski is a spot of Yoga in snowy French Alps! 🇫🇷🗻⛷️🧘🏼‍♀️🙏🏻

When you seek you shall find 😍 on a little jaunt to the very cute @woodbearcafe I spotted an ad for Yoga & Gouter (French afternoon sweet snack)

Had a gorgeous Yoga session which helped me find calm, relaxation and stretch my skin legs.

The session was in both French & English - I’m so impressed with Bec’s efforts to make it inclusive!

A wonderful opportunity to connect with our bodies and each other from all over the world 🤗
