My darling dad, I can’t believe it’s been six months since you left us. Some days it feels like a lifetime, and other times it feels like it’s passed in the blink of an eye. Some days I feel like I’m going to collapse under the weight; the words that you’ve passed still haunt my throat. I blow you a kiss every day, in the hope that it gets to you until I see you again, when we can play the records you didn’t get the chance to or queue for a Record Store Day in the sky. Love you, dad. I’ll make sure Mum, Zoe, and Milo are ok 💔 by @amyj606

When I was a kid, @officialdavidseaman visited my school to watch us play football. He said my shot was good, and I can’t help but wonder if the @england @lionesses might be impressed enough to come calling?! For now I will settle for watching the match on the TV! #football #england #euro #lionesses🦁 #sport #beautifulgame⚽️ by @amyj606

The @leadmill closed its doors for the final time last night. I have so many memories of nights out and gigs there. From friends losing heels because their boots stuck to the floor, to the floor being replaced and being that slippy, I got taken down by someone. And let’s not forget @steve_lamacq busting a move after @tramlines! And, all those gigs from @fontainesband @wolfaliceband @thehives @twinatlantic @newtonfaulkner @billybraggofficial @marklanegan @richardhawley @selfesteemselfesteem and so many more. I know I’m going to miss that place, there’s nowhere quite like it. I think I’ve got sommet in my eye!Thank you for all the amazing memories. Let’s hope for a new @theleadmill wherever that might be. ❤️ #leadmill #sheffield #gigs #music #venue #sheffieldissuper #live taken in The Leadmill by @amyj606

I’m finding it hard to find the words to describe how it felt visiting @theleadmill for the final time last night after god knows how many times. It was bittersweet getting to see @twinatlantic, but knowing that this was the last time I’d step through those Leadmill doors. I’ve seen some amazing gigs there from @fontainesband @wolfaliceband @thehives @billybraggofficial @newtonfaulkner @richardhawley @jimmyeatworld @marklanegan to name a few. The countless memories made from seeing @steve_lamacq busting moves on the dance floor after @tramlines or my mate losing the bottom of her shoe on the sticky floor! There’s nowhere quite as special as The Leadmill. Thanks for the memories! I’m going to miss you ❤️ #sheffield #gigs #music #twinatlantic #scotland #live #gigphotography #sheffield #livemusic #leadmill taken in The Leadmill by @amyj606

Liverpool, you were boss at the weekend, see what I did there?! I’ve been lucky enough to see @foofighters perform with their musical heroes— members of Queen, members of Led Zeppelin. But over the weekend I witnessed @springsteen perform with one of his heroes, @paulmccartney, absolutely phenomenal. To quote Jon Landau, “I saw rock and roll’s future and its name is Bruce Springsteen” ❤️#brucespringsteen #liverpool #anfield #paulmccartney #beatles #gigs #music #tour #live by @amyj606

Today’s letter is M - Manics, May, Music, Manchester. The @manics were absolutely brilliant in Manchester over the weekend. I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve seen the boyos, but they never disappoint. #manics #msp #manchester #music #live #tour #wales #gigs #livemusic #photos #cymru #jamesdeanbradfield #nickywire #seanmoore #wire taken in O2 Apollo Manchester by @amyj606

Mon the Biff! What a special night with those @biffy_clyro lads. After the disappointment of not getting a ticket to buying one via Twitter and it all working out. What a gig! #biffyclyro #gigs #live #halifax #music #scottish #piecehall #yorkshire by @amyj606
