What all started on a medical humanitarian trip “in a tiny little foreign town where the stars hung upside down a half a world away…far far away…” has become a greater joy than I could have ever imagined! One more month until we get to welcome Elder Isaac Johnson home from serving in the beautiful Singapore Mission for the last 2 years.
From serving in Malaysia, Sebu, KK, Singapore and back to Sebu Isaac has not only learned to speak Malay, Iban, Mandarin, Burmese and some Turkish :) he has learned to love every single one of Gods children and how powerful Gods love is.

June 29 Elder Johnson wrote:
“All Nations”
This week I had the amazing opportunity to go to the Thailand temple. While in the house of the Lord I witnessed all nations flowing into God’s holy house. We were needed to help a family from Taiwan do baptisms, we were assisted by Thai saints and a few American senior temple missionaries as well. Doing the baptisms for the dead in Chinese was a special opportunity which I will never forget. Sitting in the baptistry room looking at these saints from Taiwan and one sister from MALAYSIA all i could think about is that Gods gathering is in full stride. Following baptisms we then participated in an endowment session and in the same session there were headsets translating into 1) Malay, 2) Thai, 3) Chinese, 4) Vietnamese, and English as well. I was able to listen and understand the whole beautiful ordinance in malay. I was so excited to enter the Celestial room…
I know this is Gods house, I know He lives and that all who seek Him can find Him in the House of The Lord. Gods love extends to all His children which was so evidently shown to me as I participated in temple ordinances in 4 different languages. I love God and im grateful for His temples and the peace, joy, sacredness and safety found within. Each temple is a witness that Christ lives and his power is on the earth. Go and see, be in the temple at every opportunity…

Congratulations Ellie & Judge!

I always struggled to find the words in my heart, especially when moments in life happen, that feel like a lot of raindrops - that turn into rainbows.

We are so ecstatic for the new adventure, called marriage, of @ellieann___ and Judge! The deep love they have built for over a decade together, already, is apparent.

Joining families and overcoming things that don’t matter, to celebrate and bring about possibility and the things that really really do - like love - the purity of Love, and the binding of cultures, that run true and deep, within those of us willing to adopt them.

Long ago Papa was changed by the Samoan culture. He raised his 4 girls with as much of that magic, as he could.

It seems like maybe Ellie didn’t have a choice, it seems like it maybe had been written in the stars…it seems like her mother’s words spoken at the wedding….in one another’s arms they are simply, “coming home.”

To the end of the rainbow, always and forever, may you chase one another.

HAPPY 17th BIRTHDAY, LILA!
Not sure why she has to grow up but… WOW we sure love this vibrant, beautiful, kind, graceful, determined, hard working, puzzle solver, cake baking, ACT master, tennis champ, spiritual wizard! Lila is sugar and spice and everything nice. She adds grace and beauty to the world! It can’t be easy being the youngest of 6 kids but Lila has figured it out.
