@degreeart From tomorrow, we return to the Saatchi Gallery for the British Art Fair 2026.  
A fixture of the London art calendar since 1988, the British Art Fair is dedicated to British art, bringing together leading galleries and specialists at the Saatchi Gallery. With its particular focus on Modern British and contemporary work, it offers a more considered and tightly curated art fair experience, and a chance to discover artists within the wider story of British art.
 For this year’s presentation, we bring together six distinctive contemporary practices, spanning painting, portraiture, sculpture and mixed media.

Collectively, the works explore the figure, nature, materiality and the expressive possibilities of contemporary art.

“Antoinette’s Hoodie” 40 x 50 cm

The amazing @arteumlondon scanning and framing this small canvas ready to go to its forever home!

This painting is a juxtaposition of the contemporary hoodie, an emblem of modern urban identity, with the unmistakable silhouette of Marie Antoinette’s celebrated powdered wig. The work brings together two potent cultural symbols from very different eras, creating a an intriguing conversation between notions of status, rebellion, and fashion.

@banksidehotel As Wimbledon takes over London, we’re bringing a little of the tournament’s spirit indoors. 🎾

We’re proud to be showcasing Emotion: The Art of Tennis in partnership with DA Gallery, featuring works by eleven contemporary artists exploring the passion, pressure and personality behind the game.

Even more special to us, several of the featured artists are former Bankside Hotel Artists in Residence, with their work now on display in our breakout space throughout the Championships.

Such a pleasure creating these two pieces for ‘Emotion: The Art of Tennis’ , Thank you @norriee and @lucy_shuker !

“Judd transforms both athletes into symbolic, almost mythical figures through her signature feather motifs, drawing inspiration from the Goddess of Victory, raven iconography and the psychological intensity of elite sport.
Lucy Shuker is framed by sculptural white wings inspired by Nike, the Greek Goddess of Victory - a reflection of the grace, resilience and determination she brings to every match.
Cameron Norrie is captured mid-celebration, his iconic silver streak reimagined as a silver feather within a raven headdress - symbolising intuition, wisdom and inner strength.

Through these works, Judd explores the
extraordinary mental strength required to compete at the highest level, balancing vulnerability, endurance and triumph within richly layered compositions.“
