We did a thing today!! 🎉
Mattie in her Sister Dotson tag.
Me with my “missionary mom” pin. The same pin my mom wore when my two brothers and I each served our full-time missions. She’s letting me borrow it for 18 months. ♥️ by @amyleedotson

God is so good! In a world filled with fear and heartbreak there is also light and love and joy. I am grateful for the abundance of goodness I have experienced in my little corner of the world. A big thank you to @kimryrasmussenphotos for capturing this beautiful moment for us. . Onward and upward my friends. How can we possibly lose when we have a Heavenly Father and Savior, who love us so much? ♥️ by @amyleedotson

I have done nothing but hold my breath and watch her grow as Mattie has made her way through each stage and phase of life. She has done it with sunshine and energy and lots of leaping before thinking. 😃 Life is exciting when Mattie is around! It has brought me great joy to watch her grow in her testimony of Jesus Christ and embrace her desire to sacrifice the next 18 months of her life to serve him. There is nothing easy about choosing to serve a mission, yet Mattie has done it gracefully and with great determination. I hope you can join us as she speaks in church and shares her love for Jesus. You don’t want to miss it! ♥️ Sept. 28, 12:00PM. 1178 S. 700 W. Hurricane. Food after. 😃 taken in Hurricane, Utah by @amyleedotson
