Our poor girl has really been going through it, and this season has been a lot. Since two ambulance trips back in early November for croup, it’s felt like a nonstop cycle of sickness — urgent care visits, pediatrician appointments, ER trips, and even an inpatient admission during Nashville’s ice storm.

Through it all, the hardest part hasn’t just been watching her struggle — it’s been fighting to be heard. To get answers. To not be dismissed or labeled the “overly anxious mom.” As women, so many of us experience gaslighting and dismissiveness in healthcare, and when it’s your child, that frustration and helplessness multiply. The sadness of not being taken seriously is heavy — and I know I’m not alone in this as a woman or a parent. It shouldn’t be this way.

We’ve landed on a severe asthma diagnosis and are now navigating multiple tests to find the best treatment plan for her. I’m praying this next season is lighter and gentler on all of us.

I’m endlessly grateful for my partner, who has carried so much of the caregiving so she can heal — at a real cost to his career and a role he loved. With two working parents — one building and growing a business, one in a VP role — the pressure has been immense, and there often felt like no good answer.

And the people who have held us up — the girls’ school community, my closest friends, our team at Mamaya, and our family — you are truly family. Thank you for carrying me and helping me stay standing in an exhausting season.

I keep coming back to the why behind Mamaya — and this is a piece of it. Women hold and carry so much, often quietly and without the support or belief we deserve. A core thread of Mamaya Health is showing up to hold space for the big moments, the hard moments, and the moments where we need to be heard, seen, and believed.

Because being seen and believed isn’t small — it’s powerful. And it changes everything.

This week has been a scary one. Health is not something we take for granted, and we are reminded this week of how quickly things can go south. Quinn has been battling a very serious case of croup that landed us in two ambulance rides after not being able to breathe, urgent care, and a pediatrician visit (all in five days). Very thankful for EMTs, doctors and nurses (@vumcchildren), and Dr Triggs @greenhillspeds for all the support in getting this girl on the right path. Proud of this family for how it rallies and holds each other in good and hard moments, @isaacbal ❤️❤️ going to sleep the whole weekend, mama is tired! taken in Springfield, Tennessee by @amylgreen

Rest in so much love sweet Comet. From being the grumpiest cat who hid in our bath, to a cuddle puddle of love with my preggo Quinn belly, a cat who loved a solid groom and nail fest, this family lost a part of our heart today. Thanks for the sweet memories and have so much fun and health in kitty heaven! ❤️ by @amylgreen

There is a quiet truth many women carry. Success gets heavier when your mind is overwhelmed.

That is why this year’s panel, Real Talk: Navigating Women’s Health panel at Women Connect LIVE is going straight to the heart of what sustains us—mental well-being.

We are honored to welcome Amy Green, Co-Founder and CEO of @mamayahealth, to the conversation. She leads the largest women’s mental health practice in the Southeast and is transforming the way women access care.

Amy also knows this journey firsthand. She is a leader, a mother, and an entrepreneur navigating ambition, healing, and everything in between. Her perspective is deeply personal and boldly professional.

Through her work and writing, Amy reminds us that leadership is not just about doing more. It is about honoring your mind, your emotions, and your capacity.

When your mind is clear, your mission becomes unstoppable.

This panel is a conversation so many of us have needed. One where we are not just talking about health—we are changing how we live, lead, and feel in the process. by @amylgreen

The sweetest of mother’s days with the OGs since day ☝️ ❤️I can remember the longing placed on my heart well over ten years ago to be a mother. It was so bizarre for me- as I never saw myself as a mother or thought I wanted kids. It wasn’t until my first miscarriage I knew deeply in my soul how much this calling was placed on my heart. To be called “mother” is such a privilege. To steward little hearts 💕 that walk and run in this world is profound. I still carry the trauma in my body from the Covid years of secondary infertility - many others in our pod being pregnant- while trying to manage my own feelings of envy, jealousy, feeling deeply alone, longing, sadness, anger at “why”, and clinging to hope. Some of those days were very dark, I was by far not my best self, and didn’t know if we would ever get to the other side. These reproductive experiences shaped my life’s work and calling, which is a third baby- @mamayahealth
By the grace of god we are here- at our farm, surrounded by my sweet family, and soaking up memories with these kiddos. I couldn’t ask for more. ❤️ by @amylgreen
