Goodbye Roose Close 💔

My safe haven and home on and off through so many seasons 🏡 buying with Ed back in December 2021 was one of the best decisions I've made.

Home to fantastic bbqs, family events, sunsets and movie nights - it was always my sanctuary and I will miss it very much.

We lost our wonderful Grandma this weekend unexpectedly. I love her so much and feel blessed to have spent 32 years knowing her.

She was the most amazing mother, grandmother, great grandmother, friend, wife, cousin, sister, teacher and human being. She was generous, intelligent, witty, curious, creative and caring.

A mean baker, the Queen of scrabble, a whizz at knitting, an avid reader and a lover of Theatre.

Grandma made fresh sausage rolls and the best Christmas pudding in the Midlands for an array of friends and family every year. She regularly went on holiday with friends, only coming home from the south coast a week ago. She cherished every theatre visit and I'll always be grateful that I was able to
show her what's behind the curtain, she loved it. She also adored watching Wimbledon, Strictly and the Traitors and would trump us all at the trivia games at Christmas.

She was so proud of all of us and everything that we do and we will miss her beyond belief. It doesn't feel right that she's no longer with us.

My favourite thought is that she's on her way up there with Dolly P having a gin & tonic and a chinwag.
