One door closes another one opens…

It’s been an amazing journey and will always be the place where it all began 🙌🏾

- Planning a Cast Change party with Amy
- Met the amazing Leslie Odom, Jr.
- Had my first Peggy/ Maria debut
- Solo Company managed my first West end show
- Held a puppy for 30 secs ( massive accomplishment for me)
- Daniel Boys’ delicious Cheesecake
- Me in my element with a snippet of Richi’s arm

A little late to the party but nevertheless.

I'm not a particularly gushy person but this group of people really deserve special mention.

I met most of the company of Hamilton the same day I spoke to my father for the last time.

I knew the hamilton soundtrack, I loved the hamilton soundtrack but all of a sudden the lyrics had new meaning, new depth, new weight.

In particular "Wait for It" hit so very differently.

• Love doesn't discriminate
• Death doesn't discriminate
• Life doesn't discriminate
• My father commanded respect
• When they died they left no instructions just a legacy to protect

It's often said that in this industry "we are not saving lives". And in a sense its true. No one is performing brain or open heart surgery and if they are something has gone horribly, horribly wrong. But, often times we are someone's escape, someone's refuge, someone's light in darkness, someone's safe haven.

This show and these people became that for me.

From the belly laughs to the communal groans about extra rehearsals. From the backstage shenanigans to the onstage slip ups. To the quiet moments. The tender moments. For all of it I will forever be thankful.

Especially espcially especially to the inimitable @Yuki_Abe_ 私の光。🤍

Ham Fam 25/26 you were so special, singular and beautifully one of a kind.

Here's to you.
