The short version WHY we’re not playing Norway and Sweden this week. At the end Eric hugged the gate agent who was required by her job to escort us and all our guitars etc off the plane and out of the airport, she felt so awful…wtf by @amymrigby

What, this old thing? I hope it's okay to smile so goofily with the appalling state of things in the world, stumbling around in the rain outdoors after struggling into the coat I slipped into so easily 30 years ago— all in the name of trying to spread the word about these gigs coming up. If I don't shout it up I don't know who will, hope to see some of you out there. ❤️

Aah- back in Norfolk just in time for another beautiful sunset. It was such a special weekend in Fredericksburg VA with family and my brother’s lifetime of friends…lucky that traveling was pretty easy for such a long distance/short turnaround, lord I’m tired but feeling really lucky to have my family and this sight to come back to. by @amymrigby

I’d like to say this is our vehicle with the ducks in a row but we’re in a much more generic Toyota heading down through VA for my older brother’s memorial in the place he loved so much. Beautiful blue sky and everyone is so friendly (except the drivers) Feeling a touch of culture shock but a trip to Walgreens and I felt right back at home… taken in Washington Dulles International Airport by @amymrigby

I’m starting to enjoy this process of growing older- it feels like all the things people say: a privilege…better than the alternative…a rebirth. Seeing color differently as I stopped coloring my hair, for now anyway. Inspired by all the creative women I follow showing how they put themselves together. Still, it was a little frightening doing photos for the new album. We’ll see how that went but it was fun taking the pics in the studio where we seem to live lately. And I love these new glasses, cause I’m looking at the world through rose lenses which seems to help these days. by @amymrigby
